And we're also far out in front of the team in second for the most conceded.
I mean, I've only seen one of those penalty awards, which was the handball against us, but you do fanny around with it at the back an awful lot and have a tendency to overplay. That's a recipe to give away penalties.

From the Millwall forum (commenting on the Ipswich v Boro game)

We are better than both of these and barring one or two, I wouldn't swap any of our squad for theirs. As much as it pains me, Coventry are the best team in the league but we are definitely next.

Nice to hear (if a bit deluded imo) If they go up, Alex Neill has done a mental job.
Why does it pain him , we have no issues with them 😂

It's worse than that.

Ipswich have nearly double the penalties given to the second team.

Give us the usual metric for conceding and we'd be in the driving seat for the autos now. Give Ipswich the usual metric for having them given and they'd probably be around Hull's level.

We expected this and knew we needed a 3rd goal. The penalty was inevitable🫣
The Boro defender was daft. Obvious what would happen.

It's a big blow as I think you will win rest of your games now but it probably wnt be enough

Go into playoffs in form though if manage it

If we draw they would need to overturn a 13 goal difference with away games against Charlton ,West brom and Southampton and home to QPR no wonder we are 100-1 on now.The extra point and it would be a lot more than 100.Forget about "mathematically it isn't happening.I see no pigs flying.
Enjoy the ride.
If we draw, we'll have 87 points. They can't get 11 points from 4 games. So goal difference can't come into it (unless we get two draws, or lose all our games...).

I'm sure we'll recruit far better than Ipswich. Must be £150 million quids worth there surely (plus fat wages) and let's face it, its not even the 'Championship cheatcode' team it was billed as.

Just thinking! We need to get Mungo back from Leicester as well cos he was stolen from us. Surely a Coventry born lad wants to play in the premier league with his hometown club👍

Ipswich still got to go to Southampton as well.
Really hope Millwall or Middlesbrough nick that second spot
It'll be Millwall hopefully.

Our best hope is the playoffs now, today was the last chance saloon and we blew it.

I'd personally go all out to get a result against Wdnesday, then play the kids in our last 2 matches, wrap evey one of our vital players in cotton wool for them and have Hackney, McGree and Casteldine live in an oxygen tent for the next few weeks to do our best to overcome the regular injury crisis we have every season, ready for the playoffs.

No you didn't, they're a fuckin disgrace, and the officials, just one of those other shots going in would have put it to bed.
Soz mate you bossed it, what that does for you I'm not sure but good luck whichever way it goes!

As dangerous as some of your passing out from the back was, I think it's harsh on yourselves to say you blew it today. Everyone knew the ref was going to give them a soft pen at some point. It's so blatant by now it's ridiculous.
