Simms just isn't good enough to play a lone striker in this formation, he's not capable of coming towards his own goal so he's completely redundant when we have got the ball

You say that but hes been the least of our problems first half and done some ok stuff when he finally gets the ball. The problems been most of what’s behind him. MvE and Grimes only ones playing to usual standard

I hoped he may get a couple of goals between now and the end of the season to get his value up but like last season he’s going backwards

Disagree, Torp would show for the ball and pass it to our players which when we’re dominating possession is more important than disrupting play for me.
