My Bro and Dad. Dad gave me his Wembley Ticket in '87 so that I could go with my brother, I didn't have a season ticket back then. Sadly, my brother passed away in 2005 at the age of 42. He made it to the last game at Highfield Road but died later that month, so he never made it to the Ricoh. Dad passed away in 2010.

Pop would've been 80 this year. He passed a little over 3 years ago, he did at least witness the beginning of our upturn. Miss the chats we would have on the phone, discussing the afternoons game. Not sure what he would have initially thought of Lampard, but he would certainly have been very, very happy with what Lamps and the staff, players have achieved, and with King showing us that a better future is achievable.

Just realised the '41 Blitz was 85 years ago this week...Footy mad great grandad who died with his kids in the '41 Blitz. Other great grandad who followed City all his life and got to see the cup win on TV in 87, year before he went. My grandad who was there in 67 & 87, and got to see me and my late uncle follow in his footsteps for the checkatrade the year before he passed.

I hope the 90s away kit you chose to be buried in hasn't disintegrated yet. Thanks for taking me and my brother to a Coventry v Leicester game, snuck in to the home fans bc we couldnt get away tix, at Leicester's old stadium during the Premier League back in the day, and for being absolutely stoic when Leics scored against Magnus Hedman.

My dad Ernie and my Granddad Harold took me to my first game in 1963 (dad wouldn't let me go until I was 10).
H passed in '65, so never saw us promoted to Div 1, and dad missed out on the FA Cup win by 18 months. They're both in St Nicholas churchyard, Frankton now, so I guess I ought to go over and put a rosette (can you still get them?) on both their gravestones.
Whatever, I'll raise a glass to both of them (which will be my second alcoholic drink this year!).
Edit: just realised they'd be 99 and 128 now. Eek. Tempus does indeed fugit.

I went to school in Southam with someone with the same surname, they lived in Harbury.
Not a common name.
One of them has still got an excellent thread running, hope it's permanent really Ccfcnumber always with a musical reference as I recall anurism now what is it,OSB 58 with all his breakdown of accounting and Fellacio COVID with his humourous input.
