Hi - does anyone know if for home fans, the internal concourse goes all the way around? I have a season ticket in 18, but got a friend a ticket in block 33. Can we meet pre-match / half-time for a pint or is there a divider/barrier at some point?

Thanks in advance

South Stand entrances and concourse are well below the other three sides, so no connectivity as far as I know.

Edit: the 2 blocks you mention aren't affected by the differences in level, so I believe you'll be able to meet up. Hopefully others can confirm.

You can get round in the concourse from 18 to 33 surely? Pretty sure I've walked it pre-match, though good luck trying to navigate through the sea of fans - that will be the hard part. Early pre-match is your best bet.

You should be able to but if you can't, just walk across from one block to another after the game has finished, no partition.

I'm pretty sure Doug, Will, Sprout and various other Kings race around the internal concourse Mario Kart style on non match days so you should be fine.
King on a Mario Kart, Jimmy Hill on a big white horse.

Not a lot changed in all these years is there.

Massively off topic but I wish we would tart up the Concourse areas. Looks really unfinished and unloved.

I went in the home end Vs Bristol City and have got to say their concourse area is miles better than ours, loads of space for milling about loads of food options. I wasn't even in that massive stand either. Looks like they have built out on the other side to match.

They have a beer can system that's good as well. They have a machine that clips the top of the can off which make it safe to use as cup. Really quick, they were churning through the punters.

Also they let you keep your bottle lids, fucking annoying we have ours taken away, I assumed it was a EFL rule or something but evidently not.

Yes no problem but throngs of people to negotiate better head down 10 minutes early.

I would think they may need to rethink this for the last few games? Could mean than ticketless fans could get entry to take part in any celebrations?

Can't see how that would work Edgy. Not everyone wants to stay and celebrate, you need the exits open to let them out, and I don't think there will be many security around to check on people at that point

Yeah understand that point, but something will need to be done otherwise you'll have hundreds of ticketless fans waiting for the doors to be open at FT to get in and watch the trophy lift.

Think you are right, potential for some chaos here…

Surely no one will want to leave before the trophy lift so the club needs to man a few exits and make it clear they won’t let anyone back in until after the trophy celebration .

You can’t have people canned up rushing in to go up the steps and blocking all the gangways etc when there are no seats etc - would violate all sorts of H&S .

Once it’s all finished on the pitch , throw open all the doors and let everyone get a drink and a beer .

They'll probably have a plan for on the day. I can't really imagine a huge number of people without tickets turning up to the stadium but I'm sure they'll have a plan in place in case it does happen.

Hope they're going to keep the official offsite car parks open longer than normal after the game or they'll have a lot of people locked in!
