Sorry to be a stato here, but only 4 people called Brian have played for Coventry City since 1980. (I didn't bother looking back any further because of his perceived age).
those 4 were Brian Kilcline, Brian Borrows, Brian Ford & Brian Kerr and he ain't any of them.

There are 8 "Brians" that have played for Cov - only one born in the Geordie area, and that was Brian Joicey and as previously stated, he would be 67 now. I reckon it must be someone who's first name was something else (possibly same as another player) and had to change it, perhaps to his second name while playing as a professional, and now calls himself by his real first name which is Brian. It's the only explanation :thinking about:
