We're 1.08 to beat Sheffield Wednesday on the site I use. That's put a quid on to win 8p 😁 Even clubs like Barcelona are bigger odds against poor sides. Expecting us to win isn't complacency but reality. They have our team spirit but not skill.

Whilst on about odds... they have Ipswich 40/1 to finish 1st. Worth a nibble for those who are still worried about us finishing 1st. They have us at 1/200. That's a good profit for the bookies.

My 'stupid' bet on Southampton to finish 2nd at 100/1 is looking slightly more promising after just 1 game. Their 1-5 demolition of team Hollywood has put their odds down to 18/1. Ipswich are 2/5, Middlesbrough 7/2 and Millwall at 10/1.
I put £10 on Southampton to finish 2nd last week at 100 to 1 cash out is £63.29

Wednesday are on the edge of a precipice, they are in a holding pattern till someone comes in and builds a new stadium. They'll probably bounce around League One for the next decade. It's a pity local business interests no longer have the wherewithall to compete financially.

But what will be the result this weekend. I think we'll win but we won't steamroller them. With luck and a few other results on our side we could be guaranteed promotion.

only if you don't mind not seeing that money again, there will be slip ups for them once they the games start coming thick and fast.
I know you don't understand betting on big odds but thanks for your input.

Their odds have dropped like a stone since you informed me how stupid it was to bet just 2 quid on a 100/1 shot. They're now down to 18/1 with the site I use. This means I could take a profit already if I wanted. This type of bet comes down to how long you hold your nerve before cashing out. Ipswich still have to go to Southampton. They have to go to Norwich this weekend. Ipswich have only won 2 in their last 5 games.

Does anyone know what times the shuttle bus usually leaves the train station for a 12:30 KO? I'm assuming 10, 10:30, 11:00 but nothing on the site about it yet.

T Adaramola played for City

Not saying that they haven't been gutted by Chansari, or that we shouldn't be winning comfortably (and I wouldn't want any of them even cleaning Rapha's boots), but their squad isn't quite the churchmice and orphans list.

Not a disaster if we're not 5 up after 20 min.

Despite losing the amount of games they've lost, they don't tend to get royally thrashed.

I'm pretty sure they've only conceded more than three goals in a game on two occasions this season, one of which was against us.

They have a solid enough first 11, which is why they stay in games for 60/70 mins, then there is a significant drop off from the bench. Our options off the bench will frighten them to death and we won't have any problems as long as we don't give them an early goal to hang on to.

In my experience it usually leaves just as you’re walking out of the station doors, then the next one will arrive shortly after you’ve made alternative arrangements

One thing I hope happens is that if SW are just sitting in a low block and not even trying to attack us, bring on an extra forward and go two up top. If we're going to be endlessly putting balls into the area we might as well make sure there are more people in there to get on the end of it.

Some people seem unsure!! - Come 2:30pm on Saturday at the end of the game v SW - we CANT be promoted, fact.

It only might happen Saturday come 5pm and how other results of the 3 have gone in previous 24 hours.

Why would you run on the pitch after the game!?

If you’re not going to Blackburn, have been on the beers and think a win seals it in all but name I can see why.

One guy on X is trying to convince himself that goal difference is so high that they should announce us promoted anyway! Says the reason they wont is because of Sky wanting it to be against Blackburn! We have some interesting fans

The best we can hope for is Millwall to lose or draw on Friday meaning if we win they can't mathematically catch up

By 5pm - if Middlesbrough fail to win we will we will be promoted (if Millwall fail as well) - if they also win it goes to the Blackburn game (1 pt needed)

The Ipswich game doesn't matter on Saturday because if they lose they can still get to 90 points
