Boro have 71 points with 18 to play for, I make that 89
Corrected me before I could correct myself! I thought they had 70 points. I’m confident they’ll drop points today or next Saturday.

It’ll be over by Blackburn imo, one way or another and better yet, we’ll secure it ourselves rather than waiting on the Sunday result.

If it’s “on goal difference” it’s not secured, the celebration will only be if it’s mathematically certain.

Whilst i'd usually agree with this, we aren't letting slip a 20-30 goal advantage.

I've been hesitant to say it, but its more or less done now.

Boro playing well against Swansea. I'm a bit torn on them leading TBH, at one level I should be hoping they drop points, but I'd much prefer them to grab 2nd spot rather than Ipswich and realistically they need 3 points tonight to have a fair shot at that given they have to play each other still and games in hand.

Leaving Ipswich aside. If Boro lose, only Millwall can catch us, if we win one game and draw 1. Millwall would have to win all their games. We would be on the same points.
Our goal difference is 42..Milwall 9. They would have to score 30 plus goals, in 5 games and not concede. Unless we concede a shed load of goals.

You keep repeating this but you're wrong. Mathematically is the only time promotion is confirmed. Youre going off GD, Youre right no one would catch us but it doesnt work like that

For us to be officially promoted on Saturday, we need Boro to not win, and us to beat Hull

If both happen, then we just need to inevitably dispatch Sheff Weds and its pitch invasion time

Wouldn’t that be needing Boro not to win on Saturday though? Their game is after ours. Fan village then all pile back in after.

I did clarify that at the end, to be fair.
