Is 100 goals doable? (3 Viewers)

I know it's irrelevant in the grand scheme of things and we need to stay grounded and humble.. yada yada yada

But averaging 2.6 goals per game would get us there. With a couple of very winnable games in the mix. I'm starting to think we might do it 💯

My beer maths has us on 14 in our previous 6 games so we'd need to pick up the pace a bit

I believe 100 goals from a Championship team has only been done once, Fulham 21/22 with 106 goals.
happened multiple times between the wars and into the 50s (when still a 42 game season).

My favourite being WBA with 105 in 1929/30, and Blackburn with 114 in 1954/55- both outscored everyone, finished 6th!

Since 46 game season began in 1988/89:

Bolton 100 1996/07

Man C 108 2001/02

Fulham 106 2021/22

But yes, Fulham are the only ones since it's been called The Championship.

Score another 3 tonight and it’s on. We’ll hit 90+ goals but 100 seems unlikely unless we really trolly 2-3 teams remaining. We should get 2+ goals v Wednesday, Pompey and Blackburn.

I’d love for us to batter Wrexham by 3+ goals to all but end their playoff hopes!

Can't decide if Lampard will rest/rotate loads in that match? I think we should just try pump them with as strong line up as we can, give Haji a chance to pad his stats and win the golden boot
No need to rest players go full strength nothing is a given and Wednesday having been getting battered every week ok,looks unlikely they could beat or draw against us but they will come and sit in and try and be very hard to beat.Football is a funny old game.
