Your 3 players of the season (3 Viewers)

Rushworth
Grimes
Onyeka

He may have only joined in January, but the Tank has had a big role in plugging gaps in the midfield and us going on our latest run after a major wobble

Says a lot about him that a GK should win POTS in a league winning team. Grimes in at 2, mr consistent. Currently a tie between EMC & Wright for 3rd place for me, If Haji finishes the season strong and can break the 20 goal mark I think he gets it

Grimes.

To pick a 3rd is me just picking a favorite because at any given time all the rest have had moments. The top two have been the most consistent and a slightly different level than the rest.

Sakamoto

Sakamotos workmate recently has been off the scale, even by his standards.

Special mention to Onyeka, his arrival reignited the season and Rudoni, despite his injury issues his quality of late has been head and shoulders above championship level.

But there have been many unsung heros as well. Not for the first time last night Lampard mentioning Jake Bidwell and his attitude and the example he sets.

Sounds like a fantastic dressing room.

Oneyka has to be in the top 3. He was the missing link and resulted in us charging out of the January blip. If he'd been here at the start of January then the Championship celebrations would already be in full swing - he has been that important. Joining Grimes in the January signings hall of fame - which pre-Lampard era was not always the best. Anyone who remembers the disastrous Jim Smith signings will know what I am talking about - total shambles.

Rushworth, MVE, Thomas, Grimes, Oneyka, EMC, Saka must be very decent shouts for the PFA Championship team of the season. And that's not including Wright who has the highest goals per 90 in the division.

So difficult to pick three, id probably go with Rushworth, Grimes and Sakamoto but MVE and Da Silva are right up there with the latter.

In terms of impact at a critical time i think Onyeka has been crucial too. It's been an incredible squad effort right across the campaign so far, almost dont want the season to end.

Honourable mentions to Rudoni (didn’t play enough) Frank the Tank (only here for half the season) Wright (crucial goals but not consistent)
Thomas (would be in the three if it wasn’t for his ridiculous sending off) and EMC (injured too often).

Can’t believe there’s not a single mention for Milan, think people have just got used to how good he is. Our most consistent defender and up to 10 assists for the season now.

We’ve had a lot of players who have bad great spells but the best 3 players over the whole season for me have been:

1)Rushworth
2)Grimes
3)MVE

Rushworth.
(Never fall in love with a loan player seems to have been thrown out the window some time in November)

Sakamoto.
(Work rate second to none has only improved this year and cemented himself as a vital part of our setup and benefitted immensely from our depth additions in Jan)

Grimes.
(Solid every game and has been the vital leadership in games where we needed that authority to give them confidence.)

Honourary mention
BTA, MVE, EMC
