Rudoni be there if not so many injuries. Wright and emc unlucky to miss out but I've gone with the 3 most consistent performers. You know what you will get from these 3 game in game out all season long

JDS would be my 4th. He's been exceptional this season.

Sakamoto should be a top 3 as he’s got an incredible work rate and presence on the right.

Three is not enough, this whole squad have given us some truly unbelievable moments the last three years culminating with the final games of this season.

At the final whistle last night I took a moment just to soak it all in with a smile thinking I must be in some sort of fever dream.

It’s been shared before but I think the below perfectly sums up what Frank has brought to the club not just with his mentality but the way he’s improved the players we had is nothing short of incredible.

This squad and Lampard and the staff will go down in the clubs history for a very long time.

Was looking to see who I'd give young player of the year to, and there doesn't seem to really be anyone?

Led me down a tangent of looking at our U-21 squad list, there's some evocative names there:

Riccardo Di Trolio- online gaming forum pseudonym
Elliot Betjemann- troubled poet (and son of two troubled poets)
Greg Sandiford- US news anchor
Mackenzie Stretton- amateur boxer and reality TV 'star'
Charlie Finney- 1950s actor who also won a DFC and spent 4 years in Colditz during the war
Oscar Varney- successful local haulage entrepreneur
Conrad Ambursley- outspoken former broadsheet food critic, somewhat out of step with the modern world

3 players of the season for different reasons
Brau - Charlton away (enough said)
Yang - expected more (strange loan)
Raphael - preseason and early season cameos showed promise

Jokes aside, 3 players of the season
Rushworth - single handedly won us many games
EMC - scored many important goals in quite a few 1-0 wins
MVE - has assisted for so many goals and covers so much ground

Got to include Sakomotto as he has tremendous workrate, has scored vital goals and assist,, and he is a big headache to opposition.
Grimes has been his consistant self and hugely influential.
Rushworth has been the best keeper we have had in a very long time, keeping out certain goals that enables the team to record a win when could so easily of been drawn or defeat. That's an important cog in being top of the league.

Special mention to Da.Silva who has shown such a change in his performances and Milan.

I know he hasn't been here long, but with the impact he's made, I would be rather tempted to include FTT.

Not fair on the others who have performed all season though

Grimes
Rushworth
Saka or EMC

Pick any one from Grimes, Rushworth, Sakamoto or MVE, but a big shout out to BTA, not played enough to be in the player of the season conversation, but his performances and goals kept us in the promotion race earlier in the season when we were without Rudoni for so long.

Absolutely. What a great position to be in. We all have different choices and the next, "Oh yeah, forgot about him" comment is always in the next reply.

Sakamoto - not sure if this is recency bias because he’s been so good recently tho

Special mention for Dasilva

Very hard to choose.

Rushworth and Grimes for the full season.
Easy to forget early season efforts but BTA deserves a mention for his Sept-Nov form.
Sakamoto from Feb onwards.
JDS most improved.
