What I love most, regardless of sponsorship, is that Ayao Komatsu is a genuine City fan. Not for Internet likes choosing a big team or a recent fan because it's now cool to like football, but because he came to our City, fell in love with it and supported throughout our lowest ebb. If he is involved in any way, I hope he gets to enjoy it and not be treated only as a corporate cash cow.

Let’s be honest they are going to be sponsoring us in some form next season
F1 is a huge blind spot for me, would Haas sponsoring us be beneficial to them in any way? I don't really get what they would get out of it, could have this arse about tit but it's not like they would be advertising a product like say Renault or Mercedes. Surely they survive by getting advertising on their car themselves?

I would guess if it was the F1 team it would
Likely be commercial partnership. Chelsea had one with Sauber once.

Hence why I’d guess more likely Haas Automation if it was a financial transaction.

Also, may I just add, seeing Bob Thomas arriving at the training ground in his 4x4 monster truck type vehicle was a kick in the teeth.
First of all I thought he was a convicted driver under the influence, secondly - what a ridiculous waste of fuel and money. It must cost a fortune to fill up such a monstrosity and drive to and from Barnsley everyday, it can't be good for the environment.

Nice chatting to you Fernan. It will be interesting, if questioned, whether Doug would reveal if the grass is 100% natural at Ryton, I really dislike astro turf and its synthetic siblings. Its an awful addition to modern society, environmentally foremost.
