I hope Roy manages to turn Bristol City around as they still have Southampton to play.

I would like Millwall and Middleborough to come up with us. Leave the parachute and Hollywood clubs down there.
It's starting to get very interesting down there.

Next up for Millwall is away to Middlesbrough and then home to Norwich. If they can get a point minimum against Middlesbrough and manage 4 points in these 2 games I would think they would be looking favourites for 2nd, although on the other hand against sides desperate for points 🤔

WBA A 20th
QPR H 12th
Stoke A 15th
Leicester A 22nd
Oxford H 23rd

If Middlesbrough can turn their results around they will be close, but their lack of goalscorers is starting to bite now. Saw something yesterday about 65 shots in their last 3 games for a total of 1 goal. Just had a look at the stats. Against Charlton 77.8% possession, 86 touches inside their box and 34 shots. Lost 0-1. Home to Bristol City 19 shots 1-1 and 12 shots against Bristol for 0-0.

I think Ipswich are going to shit the bed. They have to fit in 2 extra games in the last few weeks of the season with Birmingham next at home. Then it's Norwich and Portsmouth away before the hard run starts. Middlesbrough at home then Charlton, WBA and Southampton away. 4 games in 9 days with a lot of travelling to do.

Hollywood have some easier games but still have to play Southampton, us and Middlesborough.

Then we have the dark horses for 2nd place with Southampton. 100/1 for 2nd place and just 7/2 for promotion. Have a couple of small wagers on them for 2nd place. 1 for a cash out and the other to let roll. Only 1 defeat in 14 games. And their 7/2 for promotion is massive considering they will be playoffs minimum then favourites to win them. Will have to see how they do against the top sides.

Not too worried about Hollywood. Their way to the playoffs is getting on top of Hull.

One thing he has always been good at is getting teams set up right and hard to beat, he bores they players in training but they know exactly where they should be at every moment.

Southampton would need to win all 7 games (which they won't do) to get 84 points

Drop points in one game and they'll need all 3 of Boro, Ipswich & Millwall to have less than 1.5ppg over the last 7 games

It's 100/1 because it's not happening

Wrong?

Nobody knows what will happen. 86 points could well be enough for the title. And I'm certainly not saying a 100/1 shot will come in. But they have Wrexham away next and Ipswich at home in the penultimate game of the season where Ipswich will be playing their 4th game in 9 days with the last 3 away. The other games are easier. They have only lost 1 game in the last 14.

There's no right or wrong when taking a guess in advance. Middlesbrough have got 8 points from their last 8 games and now struggle to score. Ipswich have an awful run of games. Millwall are 6 points ahead of Southampton but have Middlesbrough and Norwich next.

It's simple. Although they're the big odds out of the pack I prefer the chances of two outsiders for 2nd place which is Millwall and Southampton because of the remaining games for Middlesbrough and Ipswich. That doesn’t mean I'm right.

Let's see the results of the next couple of games. The table will most probably look different then.

Of course I don't think they will come 2nd, but to say the form side won't continue to win games and don't have a chance? Middlesbrough on latest form are on just 1PPG. If this continues they will finish on 78 points.

Let's be honest. None of us know who will finish 2nd.

Who said they are? But they just beat Fulham away and are the form team of the moment other than us. We've won 7 out of the last 8 only losing to.......Southampton.

I know I'm not supposed to have any thoughts that go against the majority. I'm used to it. Took loads of shite for saying they would struggle with Will Still before the season started. Now it's started again because I think they have an outside chance of making the top 2 with their players that underachieved under Still. Just like I took loads of shite for saying we would finish in the top 2 if we signed a good GK.

I know this will be twisted to I said Southampton will beat the odds of 100/1 when I'm saying that the odds are worth a dabble. My reasoning is win the next couple and the odds will tumble which is good for cash out. But with the run in of Ipswich and the form of Middlesbrough they can't be ignored.
