Another International break so give us all something to talk about and hopefully we can continue where we finished off with another three points

Potentially no Agyemang or Szmodics for Derby so they might have to ring the changes a little bit - Decent side and Eustace has done a stellar job but think we will have enough to see out a tense 1-0 win

All depends who come back from international duty, from what I understand it’s EMC and Lats who are unlikely.

Id go

Rushworth
MvE Thomas Kitching Dasilva
Onyeka Grimes
Saka Rudi BTA
Wright

And make heavy changes to those who played over the break on 60 mins (Just Dasilva and Onyeka there right?). Think we’ll have too much for Derby, their record away at clubs higher up the table isn’t great.

Going for 2-0 city. As long as we get three points between this and hull I’ll be happy. All down hill after this weekend.

Potentially see Markelo get the nod on the left wing, I think. More natural player in that position.

If Bellend decides to give JDS another 90 mins in that pointless game with Northern Ireland on Tuesday night would not be shocked to see Bidders or KKH thrown in at Left-Back

Would go 14 points clear of Ipswich with a win here owing to them not playing, yes they will have games in hand but I think that they would psychologically throw the towel in on catching up that gap with so little time left

Relaxed about this game tbh. Even if we don't win, we're still going up (I know the players won't be going in with that attitude). Don't risk anybody that needs the extra couple of days rest. Save them for Hull.

Think I’d go for KKH if that’s the case, I don’t think he gets anything like enough minutes but from what we’ve seen I think Lampard will go for Bidders.

He actually played KKH at left back against Charlton on NYD and he played quite well before going off injured iirc

Winning the title is surely an afterthought for them until they actually hit 2nd spot.

I still have nightmares over his performance away at Derby last season. Hope he doesn't repeat it.

I doubt any of the 3 challengers are thinking seriously about anything other than 2nd spot.

If we start dropping points that might change but realistically at the moment its a battle for runner up

2-0 or 3-1 to us

They are a decent side but they seem much better at home.

Even then we are much better than them so once again any type of performance and we win.

For a while both auto places were in play, now it’s realistically just one. All they will be focused on is overtaking then staying ahead of Boro.

Expecting Wright and Rudi back for this one fingers crossed. cant see EMC and Lati starting given the distance and jet lag but as long as bellend doesnt play JDS for the full 90 against Ireland no reason why he cant start

We should know the Boro vs Millwall result before our game vs Derby. If the other game ends in a draw and we can beat Derby, that would give us further separation from the chasing pack. Even if either Boro or Millwall win, and we win against Derby that could potentially remove one of the challengers from the chasing pack.

I think whoever fails to win that game has ran their race in terms of the Top 2 - One of those games where a draw is no good to either side

Id probably give Markelo a go in this game. Esse is the more accomplished but seems a little immature. If Frank can get him to play for the team and not himself then fair enough

Szmodics concussion so will be out ( hope he's OK- sounded a bad one), Brereton-Diaz away with Chile, Agyemang with USA, so all 3 unlikely to start. Leaves them Carlton Morris plus? Good defensively, but attack now seriously weakened. Helps us out.

Wasnt it the Derby game a few seasons a go when it all kicked off in the stands and at the Cherry Tree afterwards. Lets hope they behave this time
yes, however i think that was a different from normal set of derby fans. this was their wayne rooney shit show relegation season. we got them in the fa cup and i think, cheap tickets, general sale, larger allocation etc meant, in the context of their season, a load of yoof wanted to have one more big day out

Have heard a rumour from an old boy with connections to the Legion that they are expecting something to go off with Derby. Don't shoot the messenger.

Esse is far more experienced at this level, I think he's trying to do too much is all.
Thats my perception too, he definitely has the quality to be a starter for us but just overdoes it trying to impress and just doesnt have the work rate that Saka has (which not many players in any position do) and thats not a slight on Esse its if anything a compliment to how important Sakamoto is

Yes it was the season they got relegated - Their fans seemed to have a massive chip on their shoulder that day and season, the sense of feeling that their club had been wronged somehow seemed to filter onto the terraces

It all kicked off in The Casino that day too and ever since they have enforced a strict home fans only policy
