84 points should do it. (1 Viewer)

Hull will be a tough game and Derby are fighting to stay in the playoff race so won’t be easy either

I have a feeling that we will get four points from those two matches, which I would be very happy with.

Eighty four points on the board with another five matches still to play. Wouldn’t that feel good 😊

You would think we're in a relegation battle with trying to work out if we're good enough to beat Sheffield Wednesday 😂

We don't have what I would call a difficult game left. No game is a given, but you would think that we will win half the remaining games minimum. Would be good if we're confirmed champions after the Wrexham game and that Sheaf is fit enough to play so he can join in with our celebrations 🍾

Is it nonsense to suggest we can count as a given victory against a side whom we have nearly a 100 goal difference advantage against and who hasn’t won in over 30 games?

We're highly likely to win.

But no its not guaranteed. They went a goal up at Hull..... they could go 2 up against us and we struggle to a 2-2

I think we'll win with lots to spare, but those points aren't on the board until its done.

We also went there and scored 5.

19 goals to go to hit 100 goals scored too! It would be amazing if we completed that Im not 100% sure if we’ll get there in 7 games but if we tonk Sheffield Wednesday scoring 5/6 goals it’s definitely doable

You are all right. have me extremely worried now we won’t pick up a win. I think the challenge of Sheff W will be too much for us

Away from home at the start of the season and we had 3 disallowed goals.

We’ll be playing this game seeing three points as another big step towards promotion.
Mad game tha was -I’m sure we hit the post a couple of times. Yeah - I’m 99% sure it’s 4-0 written all over it. I do chuckle when I think back to that Bolton game though

Our worst rolling 7 game PPG this season is 1 (7 points) after the QPR defeat in January. Surely 87 will be enough.

Mathematically I make it between 8 and 10 points needed with all the permutations of the two “cannibal” games between the three.

Best scenario is both games end up draws as, like on Saturday, both teams lose two points off their theoretical maximum.

What is going to be annoying is because Sky has brought forward the Blackburn game to Fri night the fans could not see on the pitch us guarantee promotion.

Possibly down to the next day when all rivals play-be awful to wait on results and not actually celebrate it with team.

Then we’d go to play Pompey as promoted but maybe wining confirms title?

If, and I know it's a big if, we beat Derby, Hull and Sheffield Wednesday, a victory in Blackburn would guarantee promotion.

We need 11 points to guarantee it - get 9 in the next 3 then it's mathematically confirmed with e win at Ewood Park - the Portmouth at home would be a party

But then again - this is Coventry City :ROFLMAO:
