Looks like Hackney is out for 4-6 weeks if the rumours online are anything to go by. If he is out, hopefully its just four weeks which with the international break would not be as bad but could mean he misses Millwall and possibly Ipswich.

Massive game on Saturday with Blackburn. nothing less than a win will do. Will be nearly as many away fans as home fans which should help.

Surely you must be worried about Hackney being out. Everything seems to go through him.

Oh absolutely, it's terrible. He is our best player. The only positive is if its 4 weeks then the International break falls into that so its not as many games as it could be. 6 weeks is a disaster, we will see.
Same for us without Bobby wright and Rudoni and the top teams have players that come in we need players to step up which they have but it feels he is to you what Rushworth is for us

Don't want them to come up because they'll spend and Im not keen on the media love in.

But as Ive said before, know a few of their support, (related to some), who were there when they had owners who gave sisu a run for their money so delighted for them.

Can think of plenty of clubs with far worse owners.
We have the opposite at work one of their new breed of fans a local lad to Wrexham a suburb called Tamworth, he was a prick before he followed them he’s still a prick and will be a prick long after he has lost interest.

It's a worry against Millwall too that as well as Hackney's rumoured absence, McGree will likely get back too late from international duty for Australia to start and ditto Morris on international duty for the USA.

That's practically our entire midfield out if so, best hope Browne doesn't get injured on International duty as well for Ireland, else we're chucking out a midfield against Millwall composed of kids😳

We've quite a few others away on Internationals too, but midfield is the biggest potential blow. Not that we could ever stop them, it's always been a principle of Gibson's not to get in the way of any of our players achieving their international ambitions, which doesn't cause a "club v country" issue (unlike many other clubs when we were in the Prem) but does make us a more attractive prospect to players with international ambitions at least.

One thing that gets me though; we have all these players away on Internationals, you would expect us to have more away than Millwall perhaps, but how come what I keep hearing of as the "Best Squad in the League" Ipswich don't have many at all??

Ignore identical games for us and Boro and we both play Watford and Wrexham with home and away switched

we then have Derby H. Hull A
They have Millwall H Ipswich A

they need 8 more points than us to overtake us
Also shows that average position calculation must be rubbish as shows us with a harder run in based on average position of opponents

You have to wonder how Sky pick games for tv coverage sometimes.
Southampton V Norwich on Wednesday both teams with a chance of playoffs still and they have no coverage.
Tonight their main event is Preston v Stoke both teams mid table nothing to play for and are hardly entertaining teams. I cant imagine anyone unless your a supporter of either team being remotely interested in watching or being interested in the outcome

We have our own injury issues, though hopefully some good news on that front soon as far as Rudi and Thomas are concerned.

I think their may be something in the contract regarding minimum amount of live appearances, I know that's been the case in the past, no idea if it's part of the current deal but it may offer an answer to your question.

On the Southampton v Norwich match, I think there's something about postponed matches can't be broadcast if they were originally scheduled for 3pm on a Saturday.
