I'm not sure that would overly bother Suriname.

He'd walk into their team. It's more down to whether he wants to, and if he thinks he'll ever be able to get into the Dutch national team.

Surely MvE holds on to the hope of a Netherlands call up until he's had a season in the Prem? A few good displays in the top flight and he'd be on their radar
