36hrs later and Lampard is still living in the cheats heads

Seeing how angry this result made frank was nearly better than the three points. Nearly.

Comfortable win. They barely created a decent chance all match.
All they do is sling it in the mixer. They are way off the standard of a typical Championship winner and if we hadn't wasted a quarter of the season with Still, we'd be strolling to the league title.

He’s a fist pumping twat. He lacks any class - you only need to look back at the end of the home game. Right prick

He's also Harry's nephew, so doubly a prick.

Love winning against Lampard. In fact any member of his wretched family.

He is getting fatter
nearly at Sunderland levels then!

Lacks any class coming from those cheats is hilarious. The parachute teams have been absolutely loathsome this season tbh, fans think they are owed something and squads stacked full of utter cunts.
Southampton deserve to stay at this level for a while now and assuming they don't make it this season, I think that'll be the case.

Agreed - sky cameras showed he stood on Torp's foot
The frustrating part is that they made quite a few such tackles where they stood/stamped on people’s feet and made above-ankle challenges with studs showing. None were even yellow carded while Da Silva got a red in the reverse fixture for 1 clumsy tackle. If the ref had gotten the decisions correct, it could’ve changed the complexion of the game.

I do find this rolling around and pretending to be injured more and more tiresome -including from our own players. I've called EMC out for it on more than one occasion. But its even worse now, they roll around like theyve been poleaxed, then ref asks do you want the trainer....oh shit no i'd be off for 30 seconds. The optics are terrible and its becoming more and more of an issue. Compare with the rugby - 20 stone fellas smashing into each other, not an issue, yet that bell end rolling around holding his face was absolutely pathetic.

EMC also gets brought down and jumps back up when he should have stayed down.

There's a rumour that they're going to change the rule that if you go down and need treatment you have to go off and stay off for a minute and not the 30 seconds which is the present rule.

But that is not going to stop those who are faking injury, stop the game and then get up.

Would stop it if a player down for more than 5 seconds (or whatever decided) it became mandatory to receive treatment and be off pitch for a minute.

Southampton are rapidly becoming my least favourite team. Shame really as I always thought they were a decent club and their representative on Sky Blues Fans TV the other day was very reasonable.
Don't know why they dislike Frank ..Obviously some history I'm not aware of
Enjoy next season in the Championship. Mongs.

I think Eccles is our worst culprit. Some of his antics drive me mad and usually end up with the breakdown of one of our attacks.

To be fair to EMC he does get constantly targeted every game, as does Sakamoto.

Eccles is a fan and it shows in how emotional he gets over even trivial decisions. Needs to remember he's on the pitch, not the terrace!

His getting in the ref's ear annoys me less than when he falls over or obviously throws himself to the ground trying to win a free kick.

I prefer human error to VAR, in it's current format, but surely there is a middle ground where refs don't make huge glaring errors.
The middle ground for me is VAR making MUCH faster decisions, giving the benefit of the doubt to the attacking side straight away unless it's clear and obvious.

You're not going to improve the ability of humans to get everything right in real time.

I'd be so up for a 20 second timer on it. If they can't work it out then it's not clear and obvious.

Lati can be pretty bad when shielding the ball. Slightest touch from behind and he goes over looking for the free kick.

Seems to be a theme of not liking teams in red and white striped shirts. Include Sheffield Utd and Sunderland in that too

Not really understanding the hate for the relegated teams from last year.

OK Leicester fair enough. But Ipswich and Southampton are both pretty inoffensive.... i'd go as far as saying Ipswich were one of the more popular teams to go up when they did. They're hardly Leeds, either of them.

As for pointing out their "entitled fans", people should take a more reflective look at this forum.... imagine this place two years from now if we've been up and back down again.
