Next years season tickets (5 Viewers)

When promoted I would expect somewhere in the middle of Premiership prices not as dear as the rich ba....ds in London around £600 IMO.The money coming in from things like TV rights (£86.7mill 24/25season) show just how much money floats about in the Premier league. If things are managed well the fans don't need to be the main income and Doug can take it a bit easier on us
Why would it be pitched in the middle? There’s a strong case for keeping it as it is given that there are less games.

Pretty sure that Leicester were charging £75 per ticket for middle stand seats when they were in the Prem. That was to watch them lose about 8 home games on the trot at one point.
We won’t be able to justify season tickets ourselves so will be looking at match day tickets. With the amount of TV and advertising revenue around I would hope the club don’t want to fleece the fans. For me £45 is plenty for an ordinary seat.

Will probably need a bigger ground if we get promoted.
Couldn't disagree more and unless we established ourselves in the Top Flight for a long time like a Brighton or Brentford have I would not want the Stadium to be touched

Last thing we need is to go back to playing in a soulless bowl again if we were to not stay there very long

If we are in the Premier League next season there will be plenty of tickets across the 19 home games available to Non-ST holders who have earned the right to be there

Sunderland have announced they will be splitting season ticket prices for 26/27, with fans who have held a season ticket for over 3 years getting theirs cheapest. Then anyone whose had one 1-3 seasons get the next best price, followed by new season ticket holders paying the most. Interesting concept I’ve not seen used before.

From what we heard Saturday it will be the corporate tickets taking the hit, can’t see that much of an increase in standard tickets, obviously depending on what league we’re in, ( the prem )

Well, you would like to think he would reward our loyalty and not try and rip us off.

Knowing Doug however...

If we do go up there's the fairly strong likelihood of us playing in the Championship again the season after, I would guess that any price rise next season wouldn't be reversed completely the year after so an increase for 26/27 would hopefully have an eye on people renewing in 27/28 as well.

Considering away fans pay £30 a game in the premier league, I cant see Doug charging more than that for adult STs

So thats £570 an adult in standard zone
If the Premier League package was sold at £550, that gives an indication in my mind that that’s roughly where the pricing will end up.

Prices will (probably) only go up a small amount next season and then a big hike should we stay up in the Prem. The caveat here is the assumption we’re going up.

Yes he won’t put them up much as if we go down the price would reduce again.

Match day tickets for Cat A will go through the roof and rightly so

Agree, we’ll sell out our season tickets again so will be taking advantage of the ticket exchange sales and non-ST allocation.

Makes sense to be honest, look after the loyal STHs and cash in on day trippers.

I can see the ticket exchange being mandatory, which I have no problem at all with.

" corporate tickets taking the hit" they already do, Balcony Street Bar season ticket, £1.350 and that's for this season.

Villa's equivalent to the Balcony Street Bar appears to be £3,675 a year.

And it gets worse from there. The other packages are £9,240, £12,650 and £14,700.

Ouch.

You are not getting pl hospitality for under £200. Maybe for Millwall h Tuesday night. Big clubs will be nearer £450++. A box for 12 for the season nearer £75k and will be taken up by corporate sponsors. Gone are the days of league 1 where a few mates can club together

I’ve heard local businesses are gonna have their noses pushed out and it’s big business that Doug wants associated with the ‘brand’.
Should we achieve the level of the brand in question of course.

The finances in the prem are on another scale. The v top prem clubs would rather not have the fuss of STs and sell out at higher prices for each match.

Even for the remainder, ticket revenue is insignificant compared to TV money and while it’s inconceivable that prices won’t increase (for fewer games) an extortionate increase could be counterproductive if the club wants ST holders to renew again should we ever be back in the EFL.
