Classic Farage. All mouth and no trousers. Great at shouting from the sidelines, but when it comes to doing actual work they can't be bothered and/or don't know what to do.

Imagine this fucking idiot running the country.

And I wonder if he'd be so sympathetic to the Labour government inheriting financial problems?
I’m not sure he’d end up being PM, especially not in the long-term. One of the recent intake of Tory failures will probably end up with the job.

"Publicly releasing such details could have jeopardised the ongoing prosecution, caused undue distress to the victim and undermined community cohesion.

"Whilst transparency remains vital for public confidence, in this instance a more measured and confidential approach was required."

Ms Ward went on to state: "The information shared by Cllr Finch was not trivial. It concerned matters that could have a direct impact on the effectiveness of a police investigation and the stability of the community.

"Had this information remained confidential, it would have helped to protect the anonymity and wellbeing of a victim, ensured that the prosecution would not be compromised and prevented unnecessary escalation of public concern and unrest."
This is the problem with the 'realise every bit of information now' demands. We all want to know what is happening in our communities but not at the risk of those responsible getting away with horrific crimes on technicalities.

Farage is controlled opposite, he's just another puppet but a bit more charming than the other dullards. We need a proper right wing party.

Well Tory boy ended up as Tory leader, later had a stint as Foreign Secretary and finally became a life peer. :ROFLMAO:

Just imagine the reaction and furore if Angela Rayner or Jess Phillips did this

Reform’s Richard Tice avoided nearly £600,000 in tax

The deputy leader’s property company paid nothing in corporation tax on multimillion-pound profits for most of 2018-21

The deputy leader of Reform UK avoided nearly £600,000 in corporation tax after obtaining a rare legal status for his company.

Richard Tice then channelled dividends, paid by the company, into structures including an offshore trust and a string of dormant businesses. Several did not pay any tax during the relevant period.

It can be revealed today that his property company paid nothing in corporation tax on its multimillion-pound profits for most of 2018 to 2021.

What an odd thing to say? So it’s a misogyny thing rather than poltical?

It's misogyny, politics, and class.

It’s exactly what Peter Mandleson has always stood for and shamelessly so. Yet our PM still decided to look the other way and give him a half a million pay deal. I’d look closer to home than Reform if I were you.

No, I think your bizarre moral compass is funny.

it’s surely yours - you think some politicians have integrity in senior positions - the irony regarding Rayner is that she was briefed against by Starmer and McSweeney to the Press

I hate to break this to you but no one gives a fuck about Richard Tice and his business affairs - no one - as he’s viewed as no better or worse than the grubby people in office

So if no-one gives a fuck about Tice as he's no better or worse than the people in office I assume therefore you must think nobody should have cared about the likes of Raynor et al.

Oh wait, you thought was terrible and she had to go.
Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Is this like how no-one cared about Ukraine, or the Middle East, or Boris' parties?

Looks to me like if you're 'one of the lads' you generally get away with a fair bit before it catches up with you. Certainly kept Boris lad going for far longer than someone else.

Rayner still is I think being investigated by the HMRC and was housing minister I believe

So yes she was in government and the position was untenable - obviously

She was a key threat to Starmer and was pretty stupid to do what she did

She portrays herself as a person of the working class and when she then acts in the same way as the elite acts she bought herself down

No one cares about Richard Tice and his tax affairs unless it’s not legal

It’s funny as reform clearly gets under the skin of people on here as they get more publicity than anyone else

So if she had been in opposition you wouldn't have mentioned it?

Well I care. Just because it's legal doesn't make it right and shows where we need to change our tax laws.

If we've got someone vying to be part of parliament deliberately looking at how to avoid and bypass laws then it's not a great look. And that's the same for all political parties. How can you be expected to run a country well and for the good of the people if your default position is "fuck the country and it's people if it's not the best thing for me"

Reform are effectively a government in waiting, they should be put under extra scrutiny befitting that.

I don’t disagree but it really won’t make any difference

Wasn’t it Tice who became Reforms chief spokesperson on Angela Rayner avoiding £40k of stamp duty call and called for her to resign as deputy leader of the Labour Party, in fact I think he said that if she had any principles she would resign as deputy leader. Presumably Tice being a man of principle himself will be resigning as deputy leader of Reform on the same basis.
