Why has it suddenly become 2 verses again with 2 big choruses .

Cant the resident DJ just keep it at what makes it special instead of doing his own thing ?

Also , where has take me home gone ?

So you can change your username but the DJ can't change his pre match ritual? 🤣 🤣

Edit - this post is a joke, but reading it back it comes over a bit passive aggressive, sorry!

“After the teams run out, before kick off, after the final whistle - what does that tell you about WLADITT choruses?”

“….there’s too many of them?”

“That’s one way of looking at it. Another way of looking at it is - people like them, let’s play some more of them”

Nice to have our own song. As a kid growing into an adult, though, I got fed up of 'Play up Sky Blues' as I'd heard it so much. Better than 'Keep right on' and 'Oh when the Saints' etc. Now that would grate my gears.

Unpopular opinion but outside of before kick off its getting on my tits now, being way overplayed. The wonderwall of Cov

If it comes on on my Spotify now I skip it
The other week I heard it outside queueing to get into the ground, two choruses before kick off, immediately after full time accompanied with a light show and then there's a bloke on a guitar in the concourse singing it as I walk out.

I like WLADITT but they are ruining it by absolutely rinsing it every bloody game

If it gets stuck in my head it always warps into Going Underground by The Jam. A far superior track.
As a tune by itself I dont think much of it and The Enemy themselves are a pretty mediocre example of the Indie rock bands that were doing the rounds at the time.

All that said, it works great for us. I like it for what it is to us.

I don’t like them announcing the teams before they’re out either. Always left with a couple of minutes of nothing?

Start announcing as they walk out, as soon as that’s done JD says come on Sky Blues or whatever then WLADITT - as soon as that first chorus is done, we start.

++ what happened to those Tom Grennan videos, they were good.

Got shit for this as alway but the AV stuff is stupid and ruins the pre game. The entire point is it’s predictable so the fans know what to do. Changing it every game messes with that.

Just leave it , how can it be unique to us if you change what we sing every other week .

Its 1 verse and 1 chorus

I liked the odd occasion when the opposition turned us round at kick off and it bled into the 2nd verse. Not sure about it constantly being 2 verses.

Was played immediately after the win on Wednesday night. Completely ruined the post match organic atmosphere. Like others have said, one verse, one chorus just before kick off and that's it. They were even playing it outside about 10 mins before kick off, so I got 2 whole versions of it within minutes.

I like it but it only needs to be once just before kick off and one verse and chorus like we had before. No idea why it gets changed, people have enough trouble clapping in time and singing along as it is!

Don't mind when they do it but it bugs me that every year they make the player graphics too long and we're getting players announced while the previous players graphic is still in progress. Can't be that hard to sort.
