Be nice for a Wrexham win tonight.

Never usually root for them, but if they beat Swansea tonight, that would leave Swansea 8 points adrift of their neighbours, with 8 games to go.

Would probably end their playoff ambitions right there. That's a lot to make up, 8 points in 8 games and there are already 5 teams above them anyway as it stands, to get to the top 6 places.

A defeat may well have them less motivated when they play us next week. Maybe even with one eye on the beach for some players.
I see that Reynolds and McElhenny are doing live comms and 'analysis' of the match on sky. Would genuinely sooner shove pins in my eyes than listen to that....

Checking back in after a couple of weeks away.

Almost there Coventry fans - well done.

As per, we gave ourselves a bit of daylight to third and then decided to lose at home to Charlton. Its a concern, a few weeks back, we looked at the fixtures. Away games looked tricky and the home games looked a bit more favourable. The task was simple, win the home games and we have a great chance at second. Since then, we have not won a home game, drawing with Oxford and Leicester and losing to Charlton and have won both away games - Birmingham and QPR. Typical Championship inconsistency. The concern comes from the confidence our last three home games will have given teams, sit deep and we really struggle to break them down. We are creating chances, lots of them in fact but we just don't have that finisher in the right position. We need to fix the home form or we can kiss goodbye to second place.

Saturday bring Bristol City, in recent times our bogey team. I think its 6 wins in the last 28 fixtures against them and no wins since 2020 against them. They will put on their best performance since, the home game against us. They have no first choice defenders and two loan players from us not allowed to play so the scene is set for a 1-0 Bristol City win isnt it.

In all seriousness and maybe im still recovering from 3 days in Amsterdam but i think we will get reaction this weekend. I think Hellberg will make some bold changes. Its suggested he does not have a plan B, this isn't true. At Birmingham he surprised everyone playing three at the back with wing backs, he now needs to find something else for the home games.

Interesting couple of weeks upcoming, Us, Millwall and Ipswich all play each other.

Praying we can keep hold of second spot!!
Maybe he should have a good chat with Ady to come up with a different plan. Two heads always better than one, Ady has much more experience of the championship.

I think he's a decent enough player at this level and might do better in a better side, but he's never worth what they paid or up to some of the hype around him.

Agree with this. He's a decent enough footballer at this level. He's just a casualty of their bizarre transfer model.

I've seen that Kyogo doesn't even get on their bench anymore. Another strange buy.

Lots on your board convincing themselves you're still the best team in the League!! Reality is a real bitch.

It’s time to dig in. Ipswich, Leeds, Southampton nd Burnley all found a way to win. They bullied us. So, I know Boro fans suggest we did the same to you. So you they need to be in BCFC’s space for every challenge and maybe let them have a lot of the ball.
Oh, and don’t be afraid to let them know you’re there….As was the case when we played you. It’s that time of the season.

Millwall's take on being in the Prem!! :-

6 points from palace; 6 from Spurs/West Ham (whoever stays up); 6 from Coventry and another 6 from who else goes up with us would equal 24, so you’re probably right.

Didn't we double them this season???

Since promotion back to the Championship our record v Millwall in the league is:

P12 W8 D1 L3 F24 A9

They are being a little presumptuous there.

this bloke was retro banned for something the ref didn't see......................... just like BTA!! nice to know we're not the only team to have it done to us, but their owner is whinging like fuck about it,
They actually got very lucky. Davis admitted it & had the officials seen it, it would have been a straight red card & a penalty. Yet somehow they still think they're hard done by.

Problem is there, you wouldn't be able to see it but you'd still be able to hear it. Try and think of something that would irreparably damage your hearing while leaving your sight intact.

You could shove pins in yours eyes and turn the telly off*.

Tbf, they didn't say the pins were to specifically to stop them watching the game.

*Probably turn the telly off first, as it would be harder to find the button afterwards.

I think whoever dreamed this up needs sanctioning.

Not sure that even in Haji's dry spell(s) he went through anything as bad as that. The daft thing is, if Stansfield scores a goal or two across half a dozen games, they'll be talking him up as the next England striker. It's just occurred to me that he gives off David Batty vibes with his scowling demeanour,
He's not a broad sheet reader either then (le Suax)

I get your logic, and I certainly won't argue with it, but I think we can take on Swansea regardless of the circumstances. Personally I would love Wrexham to get hammered, especially with that commentary pantomime going on, or whatever it is. I hate them so much.

If I thought it would effect our game I may sit on my hands, but I think we'll be fine.

If Swansea get a couple crocked/sent off, then I can be happy with either result.
