Steve Carell is one of those actors who's dependably great in every project, and almost single-handedly makes something worth watching.

Evan Almighty is one of the most boring piles of nothing I've ever seen in my life, but he's great in it.

I really enjoy the other Bill Lawrence dramadies (Scrubs, Ted Lasso, Shrinking) so will definitely be watching Rooster.
The first Carell film I watched was 40 Year Old Virgin, which still cracks me up when I watch it.

Watched a couple of films on Netflix this week :

War Machine ( Netflix latest shoot em up blockbuster )

Alan Ritchson ( Jack Reacher ) plays a US Ranger, who along with his troop, come across an alien that looks a lot like a Transformer, whilst out on a training exercise in the hills,

Lots of fighting, lots of big guns, lots of explosions and perfect for a weekend film, that requires no thinking and a few beers.

The Voyage of the Demeter. ( not a Netflix film )

I had high hopes for this one, as I really like Gothic Horror films, when they`re done right, but sadly this one was let down by some woeful CGI, that let the whole film down.

A fresh take on the Dracula genre, focusing on the crew of the ship ( the Demter ) used to transport him from Bulgaria to Whitby.

Really good cast, great sets, very atmospheric and the tension is built up very well, as the crew realise they`re in a battle not only for their lives, but from stopping the ship getting ashore.

But and it`s a big BUT, the film is completely let down, by the CGI almost rubber, Gollum like Dracula.

I actually laughed when he first appeared, it was that bad !

Not seen it yet and a bit dubious of resurrecting series that have perfect endings, but the new Scrubs series has been getting good reviews so far

Not a Doctor Who fan, but I fucking love it when lost media is found!
I find it fascinating. Seems to be a regular thing now.

Think we're at a point where people who were employed in the TV industry at the time where wiping tapes was the norm, and people ending up with copies of stuff in their personal possession was also the norm, are dying and random reels are found that sometimes contain the only known copy.

There's probably lots of things we don't know about that's ended up overseas, mislabeled and dumped in an archive room somewhere.

Bunch of people who pretty much dedicate their lives to trying to trace this stuff.
