This entire thread originated when the club had just taken 15 points from 11 games and after this thread was created we went on to lose and draw , the latter at home to oxford

16 points from 13 games and we werent playing great , QPR was dreadful

Fans were worried

Everyone had a right to be worried about our form…just as much as those of us who remained calm had a right to voice their opinion.

It’s the just the performative claptrap that some posters come out with that irks sometimes - “Taxi for xxx” “This is the new Sutton” etc

I'm not sure why people can't see this . Alot of defensiveness from posters. Maybe deep down they did want lampard out and that's why they are reacting like this despite apparently voicing normal concerns?

Yeah of course it’s easy to say it now but the likes of me/Otis/several others remained pretty calm about it all.

No doubt many posters remained calm .. doesnt diminish the concerns raised at the time , i come away from loftus road really worried about how we were playing , the issues needed addressing and Thankfully they have been

Ofcourse there were reasons to be concerned .. even the media were starting to wonder what the hell was happening with us ..we were playing poorly , we were wide open conceding poor goals struggling to hold leads and hadnt won away for 3 months .

No one is targeting you or posters like you. Everyone was somewhat worried. If they wernt they didn't care which is crazy.

I think the point I’m trying to make is people saying “we need more depth/a ball winning CM” is fine - I’m more saying Saddle starting a thread about it being the next Sutton and that other bloke starting the “shame it’s ended this way” thread is a bit different! You can’t now say, that was a fine way to be reacting you can’t laugh at us for pissing ourselves when we were 2nd for one game.

I just don't believe that. I just don't believe that the extreme bedwetters will have enjoyed this season as much as me and other posters. Not saying promotion won't mean as much to you. I just don't think some will have enjoyed the journey as much and talk of emotional rollercoaster is cope as the kids say.
