Clarke’s blatant cheating to get them a penalty against PNE saved them a point, but I didn’t see any of them demanding the EFL award Preston the 3 points to correct that.

They have been given more penalties than anyone else in the league, escaped clear red cards multiple times etc etc. Oh, and not to forget that bonus point they got at Blackburn.

If they don’t get autos even with all that help, McKenna should walk.

Can't see Leicester getting relegated now, Rowett was a shrewd appointment for what they needed in fairness - Shame, but least they did us a solid getting results from Boro and Ipswich

Can't see WBA getting much against Saints tonight, which paints a grim picture for them and an Oxford win against Blackburn drags them right back into the mire

Pompey still not safe either

Exciting little run in down there

WBA look in huge bother, difficult to not see them going down atm.

Watford should be relegated just for failing to beat Sheffield Wednesday in both games this season, not only that i'm pretty sure they had to rescue both games in injury time!

Really hard to explain that as Watford have looked impressive every time I’ve watched them.

But Pompey will get them, I expect a positive outcome when they finally play Ipswich.

What you've broadly outlined isn't fact though? It's a prediction.

Thankfully, I'm able to understand the difference...

I don't necessarily disagree with your analysis, on the contrary it's the most likely outcome, however it still relies on projections and assumptions about how the remaining fixtures play out.

Clearly you don’t because just last week you had written Millwall’s chances. You used the balance of probability to make that judgement.

If you agree with the analysis and yourself believe the odds are a low %, it seems rather obtuse to maintain the line that ‘anything can happen’ or ‘there’s a long way to go’.

The reason we’re 95% likely to go up automatically is because the PPG required from two team to push us out of the automatics is remote. Ipswich have already fumbled 2 games and Boro’s home record is far inferior to ours.

The odds are in our favour and that is a fact.

Personally I quite chuckled at Mark Robins' views on the late penalty last night;

"Informed that counterpart Kieran McKenna had thought the decision 'soft', Robins replied: "I don't care. I do not care. That's our first penalty of the season and we have had some bankers not given. So I do not care."
I think it definitely feels like its harder to get pens than usual, unless you are Ipswich for some reason. McKenna can suck the fattest dick he can find the smug c**t.

I really, really want us now to get an incredibly dodgy penalty in the 99th min, with the score at 0-0

We score the pen and Sky are all over it saying ..

1. He dived.
2. There was zero contact
3. It was outside the box
4. And Wright double touched it when he took the kick

And to add insult to injury, the ball hits the post, rebounds on to the other post and then it hits the keeper's back and trickles into the net.

Then the Sky team ring McKenna for his thoughts

👍🏻

Or better we are two down at half time then get back to 2-2 before the 99th minute penalty at the end of 6 mins of added time

I just want to add to this. The ball seemingly trickles over the line, but it's incredibly close

The goal line technology gives the goal, but tomorrow they discover that the technology was faulty, following a bloke from Bedworth accidently tripping over some cables, which gave a false reading

I still don't particularly fancy them to beat Middlesbrough and Ipswich, which will probably be their achilles heel in failing to reach the autos. Especially as both are yet to play Sheff W, when Millwall don't which on paper should be a guaranteed 3pts.

They beat Hull recently which was a good result for them but comparative to their league position Hull have been very poor at home for some time now, (W4 D1 L5) so I don't really take that as as a corner turned in regards to Millwall breaking their pretty abject run of form against the top 6 this season. Not yet anyway.

It's not really that obtuse. I'm just not naive to suggest that you should totally discount the fact that football can be highly unpredictable, especially at this stage of the season when form can suddenly breaking down (see Sheff U last season and both Leeds/Burnley going on ridiculous runs), due to injuries, suspensions, and/or sudden drops in performance. If you disagree that's fine.

I've not said the odds aren't in our favour?

I'd rather we just had a nice comfortable win, no drama's

Just watched the Stoke highlights, the young keeper who has stepped in for Stoke and done so well, had a poor night.

Penalty did look very soft. Only seen highlights but hoping my take is right, Ipswich aren't anything like the machine that Burnley were last season. Look vulnerable at back.

Preston and Southampton are both tricky games for us for different reasons.

As for Stoke, worried for Mark despite injuries. The fall down table is concerning.

I’m not saying we’re anti football. Just we do what’s needed to win games. We aren’t Burnley but we aren’t a Leeds. Were Lampards Coventry. I think the Mourinho comparison is a good one.
I've been making that Mourinho's Chelsea comparison to friends all season. It's only got more frequent since watching the recent BBC documentary about Jose-although obviously not in terms of winning the Champions League (yet).

Id assume he’s the biggest influence on Lampard as well
