I assume all season ticket holders have had the email about this? Is is just a rebranded existing area that lacked use or something completely new? Im intrigued and await pricing

Probably a cheaper offering, at least you’d hope. Lots of clubs these days seem to have these themed hospitality areas
No chance hospitality will be cheaper if we go up. It will sell out to Corporate customers taking clients no matter what the price.

Sunderland boxes were £18K in the Championship; less than half were sold. £45K in PL and sold out in advance.

Nothing in that picture is saying to me it's going to be a cheaper offering.

Are none of you familiar with our owner???

Yeah it won't be cheaper!

Mahou lounge was not worth the money apparently (from someone I know, I didn't do it).

This looks like a more premium experience with an eye on the PL next season.

Some things shouldn’t be cheap

It looks massive and the Mahou Lounge was tiny- we sure this isn’t the Anecdote? A place that seems a bit redundant given all the fanzone options.
It will be sit down 3 course meal hospitality and priced accordingly I would imagine - we are one of the few clubs at this level that hasn’t offered this option for years.

The article states the Mahou lounge is closing and this is taking its place 🙈

I like that it's focused on the history of the city. Mate of mine at Jag worked on the new (horrible) kit launch and said the club is working to make the ground as linked to the city and it's history as it can e.g. they want to have Jags on display at the ground on match days as a permanent thing. Imagine being a proper football club. Mad stuff.

Yep 2nd this, good friend has been working on pitch for branding etc with club - as above in terms of detail and more (can’t say too much about detail)

but mental considering where we were even 3 years ago. All good stuff.

Get the 1987 bus from the Transport Museum. The roof on the place is in a right state and stuff is in danger of being ruined.

Great to hear. I hope they refurb & rename the Anecdote over the summer. Only a small thing really but given its position would be good to have that setup as something more linked to the club & city

Yes definitely, a name linked to the City or football club is a must

Whatever happened to that bar at the back of the casino? I think Wasps used it but is it just part of the casino now?

It's still there but it doesn't get used for football matches. 😕
