Must admit, the Legends Day thing makes me smile each year...

Those sky blue 'legends' Howard Clark, Cian Harries and Stuart Giddings among others :)
Other than Lee Hughes and Craig Bellamy I at least respect anyone who pulled on the shirt and lived my dream as a boy, regardless of how they got on - They clearly think enough of the club to want to come back for the day so good on them

The only way I' make changes is on the advice of the medical team, otherwise, same again.

If anyone needs a break after 3 games in 11 days Saturdays the time to do it, (with all due respect to Stoke).

I've seen a few comments about dropping Saka but we'll want him in the side as you've got Hamer and Burrows on that left hand side and MVE will need the cover.

The only question mark would be Rudoni as personally I'd prefer more structure in the midfield, especially in the transition, as Hamer, O'Hare and Brooks can all cause problems.

Other than that keep as is.

Brooks has looked pretty good whenever I have watched them

Esse for Saka and Kitching for Lati for this game I feel. Saka will get bullied if he plays and Kitching wont take any nonsense

Saka will get bullied so play a kid??

Every season this bloke loves to put a post on about us and copy comments from here to stir up hatred.
He needs to spend a bit more time worrying about his own shit club and their plight especially the financial issues that they will be in next season when the dont go up

67 posts and counting about how irrelevant we are and how little they care 👍

if you were 23 stone, a virgin and came from Sheffield you'd need hobbies as well.

They will be expecting Saka and set up for him tactically.

Don’t think it’s a game for Esse. He gets lost a lot and doesn’t offer as much defensively. Personally I wouldn’t change anything for this and make any changes to the starting lineup for Stoke. Going purely off his size is maybe give Markelo 20 mins but if he’s not making the bench that’s not going to happen.

The irony is Warnock and Wilder hate eachother

Warnock at least, and I can't put my finger on what it is had something likeable about him - If Wilder never managed another game after tomorrow night no one other than Sheff U fans would notifor oroplece or care
Agree. Warnock has a sense of humour and has some humility. Wilder is an arrogant drunk with no class whatsoever

Wilder is a pantomime villan but imo a decent bloke. My eldests footy coach died young. Wilder came to a memorial match to raise money for his family, signed autographs, donated money and even did a stint in goal. That was total class and I will always respect him for that

It's almost as if he's a human being who's capable of being a prick but also able to be empathetic and benevolent as well!!

Our toughest fixture on paper yet. These will be top 8. Knocking on p/o door.

Take a draw. Keep unbeaten run and consolidate in 2 wins.

Sane team but i expect changes to be made earlier. Cant afford to burn out first team starters with Short turn around to Saturday.

Saying all that i wouldnt be surprised to see Esse and Eccles to start ahead of Sakamoto and Rudoni so they can impact from bench.

I guess announcing the teams an hour before KO gives time for tactics to be adjusted anyway

Have you noticed that from this season it's been 75 mins before KO. Wonder why they changed it?

I'm feeling positive about the game tomorrow. I know Sheff U's home form is pretty good recently but in general, they are not great against the teams higher in the league.

They have played 9 games against the current top 6 and have lost 7 of them. They have a draw against Millwall and a win against Ipswich.

That's 4 points out of 27.

The majority of their points this season have come from the teams currently in the bottom 6 having beaten all of the teams they have played twice (Portsmouth, Leicester, Oxford & Sheff W) on both occasions and a win against Blackburn

That's 27 out of 30 (having lost to WBA).
