I have two friends who both live in Sheffield and are Wednesday supporters. They are two of the nicest guys you could ever wish to meet.

They have kept up their season tickets and intend to renew again next season. Fair play to them.

In an ideal world, I would like to see a small European competition for the Championship. (or take one of the ones off the PL, because they are now involved with 3 aren't they?)

I would like it so the Championship remains the Championship and is not a stepping stone to the Premier and that teams aren't promoted. You can win the league and stay in the Championship, but are still able to play in Europe.

Still have the playoffs and those three teams, the two automatics and the playoff winner, play in a European competition the following season

Would love to go up of course, but that's tempered by the notion that we would probably get pummeled week in week out next season and that will not be fun at all. So it's that, that puts me off the Premier.

If there's no promotion from the Championship, doesn't that put an end to promotion and relegation throughout the entire pyramid? Not at all keen on that.
