Absolutely wetting myself at the boro result, more so than Ipswich really. The flack they gave us and their predictions that they'd be back on top this weekend, don't look quite so optimistic now. I think we are well away from out mid season blip while they are just staring theirs. Dropping points can be a habit and they have let 5 go and I think thats only the start.

I think lampard Said in interview after Boro that may be the fan's (us) need it more, appeared to place the pressure on the player's rather than shielding them?

Don't really matter we don't want Ipswich for company, their fan's are more than condescending IMO.

Birmingham may well give them a run for their money.

Couple of wins and all of a sudden they’re in contention for the autos.

Their 7th btw…

Can't see that myself! Need Mboro, Ipswich,Millwall to go into the death spiral for them to get anywhere near

What a day. A rare win at WBA and the rest of the results go our way. Got absolutely hammered last night for the first time since my birthday nearly a year ago. Had to check the table as I wasn't sure it all happened 😂

Good to see the Middlesbrough lot have been brought back down to earth. World beaters a couple of games ago to pooing their pants. Instead of a 5 point lead they are 3 points plus GD behind. It's amazing how suddenly confidence can shift.

All eyes on the Sheffield derby today. Hopefully tackles flying in all over the place and cards galore.

I see it is ludicrously open for the play offs places. As usual, every season. Its why the Championship is the best league. Teams really have a reason to play hard. And no VAR.

Part of me just wants promotion as champions then relagation with more than 12 points and then back here for more fun.

People romanticise about our almost annual escape feats in the 40 years we had in the top flight but in reality the experience was, after the initial excitement faded, pretty grim

Nah the general gist is survive the first season and then you sort of go into the middle pack.

As Long as you’re not stupid like Forests owner you’ll be able to plod around 10th - 15th like Brentford

Wtf?! Birmingham would need to win 12/13 games to reach 85 points. 😂

Sorry it reads wrong! I meant that noise from some of the Birmingham fans was that they were in contention for the autos hahaha.

Obviously they have no chance, that bald yank has got them all delusional

Lol- no doubt with zero irony.
In fairness at this point we had literally blown a 13 point lead to second ..fact is and id put money on it there isnt a single fan on here that wasnt worried because ipswich could have got within 2 points , results have been kind to us and things look good again

It’s no coincidence that the up turn in form has coincided with the squad being strengthened overall.

We’ve already seen that FL is a very good manager and has done exceptionally well to get us where we are.

Potential for us to extend the lead at the top after the midweek fixtures, the top 5 all have tricky fixtures, but Bramall Lane is always a tough place to go, and you just know wilder will set them up to kick lumps out of us. Just had a further look, if we can pick up 6 points from the next 2, every chance the gap down to third could be back up to 15 points. Mental how this time last week we were staring down the barrel at dropping into the play offs.

In an ideal world, I would like to see a small European competition for the Championship. (or take one of the ones off the PL, because they are now involved with 3 aren't they?)

I would like it so the Championship remains the Championship and is not a stepping stone to the Premier and that teams aren't promoted. You can win the league and stay in the Championship, but are still able to play in Europe.

Still have the playoffs and those three teams, the two automatics and the playoff winner, play in a European competition the following season

Would love to go up of course, but that's tempered by the notion that we would probably get pummeled week in week out next season and that will not be fun at all. So it's that, that puts me off the Premier.

We are picking up some bookings when is the next deadline - Bobby got booked yesterday then their player does exactly the same and gets away with it - Saka gets booked 2 in two games with no fault of his own- crazy hope it doesn’t come back to bite us
