In the 60s apparently. This is the only time I think we’ve ever looked comfortable against them away, very professional performance and sets us up nicely for the run in
Agreed, not controlled an away game like that since Portsmouth

That was a hugely professional performance

Seen a few moans saying we were shit, but we didn't need to get our of first gear. That is the worst Albion side ive ever seen

We got 2 ahead, we saw the game out, the first professional away performance in months. We done well
We weren't shit, it was the perfect away performance. Proof some people will moan about anything.

Also if The Baggies keep trying to pay out from the back with players who are not remotely good enogh t o do so then they are going down.

What does that even mean???? I just don't geg all this xg shite
It means that someone has coded an algorithm that measures the % chance of each chance being a goal. What the tech lovers who claim it is objective and scientific don't appreciate is that even with a computer, your outcomes are going to depend on how you code it! We've all seen plenty of hilariously wrong XG %'s for shots/chances.

It's actually based on historical databases of shots on goal.

He surely can't survive after that, just seen his interview & not sure what game he was watching saying it was even & both goals should have been better defended 🤔
I am glad you put that as I thought I had heard him wrong, the rubbish he came out with is the sort that gets you the sack.

But even then it can never identically replicate circumstances exactly. Does it factor in wind, pitch conditions, the cycle of the moon, the bloke elbowing him in the back that the evaluator missed? There's far too many variables to scientifically say "that chance should be a goal 7% of the time". Now that is a scientific fact. There's no real evidence for it, but its a scientific fact (someone will get this reference).

What a professional performance that was! I appreciated that we held it solid in the second half but would have liked us to push on them to stem some of the transitions.
