I make this the first we have won in the league on free to air tv in at least quarter of a decade. Anybody able to tell me the last time this happened? I don’t know the answer btw.

Wasnt the blackburn replay on normal tv?.... or am I thinking of the newcastle game when scott dan got a header in the last win from a gunner throw... then michael own came on and ruined it

Newcastle was on Sky and Blackburn replay wasn’t. Both cup games though.

Have looked this up and can’t find any record of it
Actually, I think you're right I've mixed the dates/seasons up. I think you have to go back as far as 4th March 1990, a 2-0 win against Villa. That was live on ITV.

I'm sure there has been a more recent win but the one's I've found were either cup games or were on Sky One (so not technically free-to-air).
