Gotta love the idea of some of these shouts being quite recent. Half of the names mentioned were playing when Jesus was still around.

One that’s been mentioned a lot in these type of threads is Chris Marsden. It was assumed we didn’t buy him as we couldn’t afford him.

What we couldn’t afford was Chris allegedly getting confused about crossing a white line. He then went to Wolves on loan and they cite an interesting appearance at Billy Wrights funeral and another curious interest in fire arms.

Michael Carrick came on trial as a youth player.
I always think Robbie Keane as well even though we signed him. It was such a short period of time. Was gutted when we sold him. To lose him and McAllister in the same window killed us.

Yeah, nobody read the stipulated ‘recently’ at all, and just started naming players from decades ago. lol

Rabbi Matondo. After scoring on his Hannover debut he hasn't scored since and doesn't appear to be playing ATM. Rangers look to be terminating his contract early.

Mitchy Ntelo. Belgian striker playing in Bulgaria linked last summer. He signed for Yverdon in Switzerland, scored 2 goals but has now been loaned back to a Bulgarian club.

I remember at the time that Rangers fans, those that weren't simply celebrating his possible departure, saying that he'd do alright if he wasn't up against a low block.

So yeah, he'd have been a great signing.

Craig Burley - On teletext they named the Scottish squad for an upcoming friendly and included in that squad was: C. Burley (Coventry City)
