I've avoided spoilers and the like but one big tip I read that makes sense is to allow the game to introduce itself to you and don't expect to be amazing too soon, I'm hoping it's one of those game worlds I can get lost in. Picked up the Days Gone remaster in the same sale and that's doing the trick also

I played it very slowly for that exact reason.

Had a bit of nostalgia for Pokemon Red/Blue, Just purchased a Nintendo DS with Pokemon Leaf Green on the GBA and the strategy guide for £160. The prices for the Pokemon games are absolutely insane. Excited as anything to get it though. It'll keep me occupied at work for a bit.

Electrician aren't you?

Too save turning this thread into a guess what job I have, I'll just tell you, I'm a plumber by trade, now work in the manufacturing industry and slowing going backwards. I essentially decided to give up my job about 3 years ago but haven't told my employers yet, I do the absolute minimum to keep my job, so I have plenty of time at work to read or play video games etc. Waiting to be sacked or made redundant and then I think we'll just sell up and move to Poland.
