And who's out there who could guarantee getting us over the line?
If we don't go up then next year's target, realistically, is the play offs, and we'll have just sacked the man who,in all likelihood, will have all but got us there 2 years on the spin. (And we'll had to have paid him and his team off)

It's a no from me, stick with Lampard.
Jim Smith!

Don't forget! Mboro coaching staff have not seen Frank the Tank play for city yet and will not know how we play him. It will take them at least 15/20 mins to counteract him so we got to score early

Also Markelo should be close to fitness now with 3 weeks training. Surprise package off the bench

Should be goals in this. The away game could’ve gone either way, Conway missing that great chance at 2-2 probably decided the game in our favour

Last night Boro reminded me of us earlier in the season, very dangerous going forward but also susceptible at the back. SU missed a couple of great chances early on and if they had kept 11 men on the pitch it felt like an equaliser was possible. Stoke also had them on the ropes recently

If we haven’t lost our confidence then it should be a cracking game

Ps if anyone knows the drummer can they tell him that he’s the heartbeat of the fans when it comes to getting the singing going at home. I know it’s hard, especially with an ever growing bunch of miserable fuckers but keep trying different songs until one catches properly… don’t just sit there with your sticks up your arse. This game is massive and Boro will be noisy so let’s make sure we’re good to go

It could just take 1 game to turn this form around, won’t be monday, but a good win at west brom with a fully fit squad and
we could easily go on a run again, we can’t keep being this bad
Agree.

I would take a draw against Boro if it meant we could bag a win against the Baggies.

I do think a defeat against Boro will leave us feeling very sorry for ourselves. It's important we don't lose the game

Point not the end of the world. We get BTA back and FTT and Markelo up and running.

We need..

A better tempo

More passion and belief

And our shooting boots on
Totally agree..Need more steel in midfield. Need Wingers to believe and get the ball in, more from the byline. Tempo ! Definitely. Stop the slow passing. Come out from the first minute and get the crowd going. Concentrate on this game and Frank! You have subs, 60 minutes, even earlier, make 3 or 4. Not Yang at 89 mins.No problem with Yang, by the way, he needs more time on the pitch.

If that is your mindset, fine. Certainly need to change Frank's mindset, tempo, pressure on the ball, determination. Early changes, if not going our way. 4 on at 55 minutes. Up to Frank, he has the players.
Nah I'm only messing. Historically this is the type of game we do well in.

We definitely need a rocket up our arse in terms of intensity because the last few games we have been ridiculously passive and slow.

This would be my starting 11 on monday if all players were fit. I think this is a good balance to stop their threat but enough to threaten them ourselves. Would still leave some more flair attacking players on the bench if needed later on in the game.

prob The best 11 we’ve got but they’ve been miles off it, think after Monday we’ll find out what they’re actually made of and how much they really want this, haven’t seen anything to say they’ve got the fight in them, keep saying one game could turn this around but that was 10 games ago,

Something is not right or going on in the club at the minute!

Maybe just my imagination getting the better of me but I thought this. Was more Thomas's recent displays of petulance more than anything else.
Yeah, I thought the same too. Maybe he wanted away in Jan and that's fine. But it's passed now and he's still here.

Surely it's in his interests to play well if he is possibly going to be gone in the summer.

Good performances will only add to his value.

I’d wondered if they’d been some kind of bust up between some of the players.
Yeah. It would explain a lot. There's not been the same level of application has there.

Don't know who it would be, but if it is the case, I would make sure I played the ones who do want to stay and fight for the club and show unity.

It's all guesswork of course, but do wonder if KKH is involved in some way and that's why he's not been getting a look in. And then you guess at Thomas, because his head seems to have gone.

I’d wondered if it was why Woolfenden hadn’t been playing as much as he could have. At this point I’d get anyone who doesn’t want to be here training down the Memorial Park like the good old days.
