Acres of space and he can’t even get his shot on target. Criminal.Wish the club the best of luck in getting what we paid for him back. It’s a definite £ loss.

You would expect a decent championship striker to do better.Wright is a decent championship striker/forward but not good enough for a side seeking auto promotion. we shouldn’t expect him to be better than he is.
I blame the spoilt, entitled fans who boo at the end of games and blame others. Get a grip.
My point is that he was in form and he was replaced. Having the odd game here and there is different to having a run of games.Simms started last week - how did that go
But he occupies defences, which Wright does not.Agree about Simms.
Kone has averaged roughly 1 in 5 for QPR; two of them against us.
Was it my tired eyes or did he actually block at least two of our own shots from going in!?
It’s amazing how we can see things differently. I don’t think he’s been anywhere near Championship level this season. I don’t think he would get into any of our rivals first eleven.Better than today you’re right but overall performances this season I think he’s been at his level.
You like your stats don't you? Minutes per goal: Wright 180 minutes; Simms 107. Wright 1 assist; Simms 2.Simms started last week - how did that go
Missed a very easy chance and stood offside for the rest of it.
20 goals 20 goals Haji wright .................It frustrates me Haji standing off side at set pieces. Most of his decent chances today were actually flagged off side and therefore not chances to score
It is obviously a tactic so down to Lampard and the coaches as much as Haji Wright, surely?
It's not a tactic to be offside every second ballIt frustrates me Haji standing off side at set pieces. Most of his decent chances today were actually flagged off side and therefore not chances to score

Charlton forward did it at our place and they scored from it. Still annoys me now. It's not a tactic to be offside.![]()
Wright was offside on the second balls tooCharlton forward did it at our place and they scored from it. Still annoys me now.
'twas one of those days. Play that game 5 times, and we win 4 of them.Wright was Oxfords best defender today. Cleared one off the line and everything
It is. Lots of teams place players in blatant off side positions at set pieces. It’s where you go from there. It's not a tactic to be offside.![]()
Ah so you agree on the it is a tactic for him being deliberately off side on the first ball.Wright was offside on the second balls too
No one will be sad if he proves people wrong, double bonus as we can then sell him for moreWould love it if he rams this up your jaxies
We have drawn both games to Oxford this season'twas one of those days. Play that game 5 times, and we win 4 of them.
I'm not on about those. Every time the keeper made a save, game stops because he's offside from the reboundIt is. Lots of teams place players in blatant off side positions at set pieces. It’s where you go from there.
But it is because he is off side to begin with. It’s a team tactic to place him where we do at the original dead ball. Because Simms does it too and don’t get me started on EMC positioning and running ahead of the ball.I'm not on about those. I know, I was at both, and we should have won both. Today, though, Oxford offered nothing and we completely dominated them, without doing the most important thing (sorry for stating the bleeding obvious)! We have drawn both games to Oxford this season
When Esse hit that bullet volley it wasn't from a set piece. But it is because he is off side to begin with. It’s a team tactic to place him where we do at the original dead ball. Because Simms does it too and don’t get me started on EMC positioning and running ahead of the ball.
The reason he's gets so much shit is because it's not a one off. Probably 80% of his performances have been the same. My hope in him to put in any sort of performance is at an all time low.Amazing though how of all the shitty performances today .. wright is the main one getting it mostly for missing 1 big chance
