Not sure id agree. Considering where we were to now but it’ll take a beating definitely

If we don’t go up it’s the first time in 122 years that someone in our position blew it.

You don’t recover from a monumental collapse like that

‘You’d have taken top in Feb at the start of the season 🤓

Like telling a bloke he’d have taken driving a Lambo this time last year just after he’s wrapped it round a tree.

I still think he can get the job done, and if being top at this stage of the season doesn’t earn you plenty of rope then nothing would. But I think it’s clear that any hopes that we’d stumbled on some kind of savant manager in Frank Lampard are quickly disappearing.

For the first time in a long time, I don't want to hear his interview.

Just been thinking, how shit are the other teams that we are* top of the league with this team.

King's target is to make the play-offs...I'd be surprised if he sacked him even if we don't go up.

Think Lampard would walk if we don't go up this season, rather than be sacked. Can't see King getting rid of him either, he's the man he wanted in

This statement makes no sense

It was more in response to the suggestion he would be sacked. I don't think he would be, but I don't think he'd be managing us next year either

Why would he resign?

He would. Easily. He’s taken a struggling 17th placed champ team to promotion contention. It’s a seismic achievement if you can set aside the infantile bed shitting.

Did you start supporting us 18 months ago?

I am interested for those who think he can turn it around to point to why they think he can. Genuinely interested.
His record over his tenure probably would be my reason
We really should have gone for it more last 20 today but we should have won with the chances we had
I thought we fought ok just didn’t have the tempo to put them to the sword

We've got money to spend Frank...

YES... A CM? A LB?

No.. We're buying a non-fit for purpose player who 'might' get signed by someone else in June.

Yeah... Haji is the problem.

He has a reputation for bottling it when push comes to shove, he did it at Derby, and he did it at Chelsea.
He did it last season in the play offs, and hes currently doing it this season when it looked harder to fail than to succeed.

Im not asking for him to be sacked, but he needs to stop obsessing with the same tactics that teams have worked out.
He needs to make some brave decisions.

Not starting with 2 strikers against one of the poorest teams in the division at home, is just bizarre. And bringing a PL player in and not giving him a run out at home against Oxford is just unforgivable, seriously why keep him away from his Mrs when she's about to drop and then leave him sat on his arse twiddling his thumbs while we are so clueless?
