A world gone mad - Six nations starting on a Thursday?!
Not looked into the reason but surely this echoes 1966 WC and White City Stadium an all that.
And they've started competition at the Winter Olympics BEFORE the opening ceremony!

I'm at a gig so can't watch tonight but looking forward to it when I get back, will hopefully be a cracking game. Does feel very odd having it on a Thursday though

Looking forward to it, unusual starting Day, probably hoping to get an extended stay in the French capital out of the visitors.

I think it's tonight so that they don't clash with the opening ceremony...

Wales finished as a Rugby team.
Ireland in decline.
Scotland aren't Scottish.
England have a Welsh man playing on the wing & only 2 fixtures at Twickenham.
Italy no wooden spoon again , fair play.
So it's France to Win the Title.

PS I don't care.
Just want Cov City to win football matches throughout the 6N.

Rugby is finished and has been for a few years!

Hmm the sport that is introduced TV intrusion into football guilty of no checks for a Dodgy try and Ireland were doing well to that point,oh well, made sure the conversion got kicked pretty swiftly as well!

Yes, I agree, especially as they play Ireland and England in Paris.

The prediction I made to the wife this morning was that the table would finish:

France
England
Ireland
Scotland
Wales
Italy

I wouldn't be astonished if Wales got the wooden spoon but I will stick with my forecast.

It’s so it doesn’t clash with events at the Olympics. Also remember the first event of the 2012 Olympics was at the CBS two days before the opening ceremony.
