SBT is punching the air.Really good news. Don't stop there Doug.

You can add MVE and Thomas to that list as well!He needs to be brought in immediately. Lampard and Wolfenden need to sort their shit out as well.
JDS and Kitching are a liability at the back. Every single game they're getting caught out or doing something stupid (doesn't always get punished). They both need to come out of the team.

Thomas Frank breaks rule to reveal Tottenham transfer failure
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has revealed that Tottenham wanted to sign Antoine Semenyo this month. However, Spurs missed out on their target and Semenyo joined Manchester City from Bournemouth i…talksport.com
Yeah, they do. LOL
Yes but its a manager talking about a failed target, so do you concede that it does happen?Semenyo may have been linked with Spurs but he was never going there and Spurs fans know it. It would be like Doug saying we tried to sign Semenyo but he chose Man City![]()
Nothing new on incomings from me.Right - get this back on track
Transfer thread, not who should play where.
@Saddlebrains
@Jimmy87
Inputs please. (Plus anyone who may have decent information)
Get us back on track.- 30 or so hours to go to possibly save our season.
The headline says breaks the rule so it is very rare and accepted as not normal protocol. Says it all really.Yes but its a manager talking about a failed target, so do you concede that it does happen?
But it does happen. Therefore i was right. Its clearly an unwritten rule not actual protocol. The headline says breaks the rule so it is very rare and accepted as not normal protocol. Says it all really.
Lascelles would also be a good option.Nothing new on incomings from me.
I see we look to have finally reached an agreement with Brentford though, so that's good news.
Not a rumour, just an opinion and may get laughed at, but i'd be looking at Jamaal Lascelles. He may not be what we are after in the long run but he's experienced and could come in and make a big difference to our run in. If we are not going to use Lati, let him go and get the minutes he craves, he is a good Championship defender for the right club.
He absolutely can play as a 6 and a different kind to the way Grimes does.Always calls to get certain midfielders out of the team but the one who seems to survive such calls is Grimes. I don't hate the idea of Onyeka going in the team for him atm at all. Don't think he will though, will be at the expense of one of the others.
Reinaldo was very poor last week at West Ham & lucky to not be sent off and was replaced at HT by Cirkin. I can't see Sunderland letting Cirkin leave & think he will be getting more minutes in rest of season. He has, but hes second choice to Reinaldo I believe, and when he was away at AFCON he started featuring.
I'd be happy spending money on him, think he would be a good LB for the Prem.
Grimes has been way off it for a while now. A break would probably do him good.Always calls to get certain midfielders out of the team but the one who seems to survive such calls is Grimes. I can't see Lampard dropping him as much as your post is true.Grimes has been way off it for a while now. A break would probably do him good.
The whole defence has gone to shit but the left side really needs looking at. Kitching and Dasilva are brain dead. You can add MVE and Thomas to that list as well!
Is it just the way the ball drops or more to it,it certainly worked earlier in the season? This is the thing that really sticks out for me in the last month or so. How do we never win a second ball…. Every 50/50 the other team always wins
Only if some outward moves, no idea who.Does anyone feel that Worrall on loan and Cirkin with £5m upfront and a couple million in add ons should we go up is really outside of our remit?
Thats 2 players with experience of getting out this league.
Spot on, we’re not dropping grimes, just needs someone to cover the work, he’s trying to cover Eccles/torp and the back 4, if the Brentford lad comes in you’ll see a bit more to grimes gameI can't see Lampard dropping him as much as your post is true.
I'm assuming that at least one gets shipped outOf course we need a left back. But can’t see that with us already having 3
Ideal but I rather suspect unlikelyDoes anyone feel that Worrall on loan and Cirkin with £5m upfront and a couple million in add ons should we go up is really outside of our remit?

Bidwell, Brau, Woolf if he’s not gonna be used, De register Dovin, De register this winger if he’s not gonna contirbuteOnly if some outward moves, no idea who.
I’m happy it’s a loan deal I guess!SBT is punching the air.
I agree that a player with Lascelles experience would be brilliant, but Lascelles himself is a massive risk given he’s played twice in two years.Nothing new on incomings from me.
I see we look to have finally reached an agreement with Brentford though, so that's good news.

True. Always a risk, but the experience would be invaluable. All hypothetical though of course.I agree that a player with Lascelles experience would be brilliant, but Lascelles himself is a massive risk given he’s played twice in two years.
Yes.Just seen Ipswich trying to sign Egan from Hull. Worth a punt?
The whole defensive has gone to shit but the left side really needs looking at. Kitching and Dasilva are brain dead.
I'm not sure the clubs whose players we went for and turned us down/would not sell would appreciate our owner mentioning the the names of those players. It would actually be good for Doug to come out, should we not get what we need and let us know who we are targeting. To most fans it looks as if we aren't doing much, others assume we are.
He would build a lot o respect if he came out and said we went for X but it didnt happen as he didnt want to move, we went for X but he wanted too much money.
who caresI'm not sure the clubs whose players we went for and turned us down/would not sell would appreciate our owner mentioning the the names of those players.
It’s heading down the right path with that suggestion.True. Always a risk, but the experience would be invaluable. All hypothetical though of course.
Davies also not a bad shoutIt’s heading down the right path with that suggestion.
Ben Davies would be a possible option given he’s played so little for Spurs.
Shame Adam Webster is injured as he would also be ideal.
