Early days still, but Yang Min-hyeok has seemed like a strange signing. Is he really likely to be getting more game time here than Portsmouth?
Maybe when we were blasting teams away and scoring for fun, but we're now in the trenches trying to grind out results

We've signed a player for 5 million who isn't even fit. Lampard also seemed to indicate he was for the future, not now.
We should wait until Monday night but at the moment it seems a bit bizarre.

John Terry, or Ashley Cole would fix this defence, but ask why he hasn’t brought them in.
I think you also need to separate out two things here, position and form, because people saying ‘would you have taken this at the start of the season’ well yeah, of course anybody would take top of the league with 16 games to go, but it’s the difference between me saying we got there by winning 6 on the bounce versus we got there then dropped 12 points from winning positions

To be fair last couple of months he's been operating to that job description, so pretty solid job security for him I'd think.
He was very lucky not to be sacked a couple of times in his tenure for having long winning runs, rescued by results end of last season, and may manage to save himself if can extend the current run.

He and his team took us to the play offs last year despite the poor start. He/They have had us outperforming for months. Yes things have gone pear shaped since December but this is not a Mowbray situation - they have proven they can do the job, they just need to recognise where the problems are and how to fix them.
Don't forget while the buck stops with FL, he takes advice from his coaching team. Perhaps not unlike the opinions shared on here where many of us think we know what needs to be done. If anything needs addressing it's a bit of honesty and self reflection between them to ensure they all are listened to - if we know the issues, surely they do too.

problem We’ve got is if we get too focussed on changing how we play to stop conceding you lose what we’ve been good at all season, creating shit loads of goals, actually liked that set up today, looked a bit more solid on paper, went out the window after 5 mins, we might aswell just have gone all out attack again, wouldn’t have gone any worse

The glaring problem is throwing leads away. We continue committing players forward when shutting up shop and hitting on the break would surely be more effective.

We've dropped 12 points from winning positions in our last 7 away games.
Not once did we set up to try and protect our lead, if we had, and been successful against just Preston and Charlton, we'd be 4 points better off than we are now.
Instead we let 10 men fuck us over at Preston and left fucking Brau 1 v 1 at the back to fall over his own feet at Charlton.

I think now is probably not the time to sack him. If we fail to get promoted, he will leave this summer either on his own accord or be asked to leave. Even if we do get promoted, do you think he will stay and if he does leave who do you think regardless of whether we get promoted, who takes over?
This is not a Lampard out, get Robins back post or anything silly like that before anyone says so.
But you'd imagine in this situation if we were in this vein of form Robins would shut up shop, go very solid, very pragmatic and try and grind out a couple of nil nils and hopefully snatch a win here and there.
Almost feels like that's what we need to do now away from home because at the moment it's clearly not working and we're just throwing points away like confetti at the moment.

This is what frustrates me.
The way we were playing was fine when the confidence was high, the players were in form and the forwards were scoring lots of goals.
But that level of performance wasn't sustainable; when energy levels dropped, or we had players out, then we should have looked to grind things out. The last few away games, with the form as it was, the first priority should have been don't concede.
When you're not playing well, be hard to beat. We are not hard to beat.

Many are enjoying our misfortune because of Lampard, how big our lead was at one point and the amazing rate at which we are dropping points (which in many ways parallels how we were picking them up and destroying teams earlier in the season). Really can't understand how poor we've become all of a sudden. It's almost a given that we'll concede a goal. Truly embarrassing and pathetic.

Yes, talk of sacking him is reactionary nonsense. But his tactical stubbornness in the last few games is unacceptable, so he needs to address it, be that by the team turning it round with his tactics or by him adapting.
It’s unacceptable for my wife to fart in bed but if she did then I wouldn’t divorce her immediately, she’d be given time to pack it in.
