Tbf to Lampard he said they were mistakes, remember we didn't actually concede a big chance on Monday other than through mistakes. Lampard was also clearly frustrated by us missing chances, to an almost greater extent as he believes the whole game can change on a goal. He's not going to call the individuals out and it isn't necessarily wise to critique your own tactics on air, I don't know a single manager who would do that.

Our form isn't that bad, we've won 2 of our last 3, that's the form we want for the rest of the season.

But that's been a bit selective with the figures.
2 of those games were at home where we've been outstanding, but I doubt it will be enough if we don't turn our away form around and we're currently 3 draws and 3 defeats from the last 6.

I dunno, xG seems to mean everything on here until it doesn't. We had higher didn't we? We created decent chances which we missed and largely lost due to individual errors. I don't know what people were watching earlier in the season with BTA in the '10' but a lot of the games looked very similar to that in the middle of the pitch but they were going our way. I always found it an uncomfortable watch even when we were winning tbh but it was working. I'm happier with Rudi in the team but people moan about that too so you can't really win.
