Very rarely do you get this level of sincerity and emotion over leaving a club
wish we had gone and got him....really admire his work rate and has fair amount of ability too

I get the impression he went purely because the club was desperate for the money. Wouldn’t have gone otherwise.wish we had gone and got him....really admire his work rate and has fair amount of ability too
They’re actually building Eustace’s Blackburn teamDerby want him I read
They've got super Jonny Eustace,They’re actually building Eustace’s Blackburn team![]()
You just ruined my weekend.Kind of shit would happen and they beat us in the playoff final with Ryan Reynolds doing a lap of honour.
Just a random one my work colleague is a Boro ST holder. I now live in Teesside unfortunately and I said get a ticket you can drive down with me and fuck off to the away end. Anyway went on the Boro website to see if I could find ticket info. They have our fixture shown with a Sheffield United crestis it tit for tat for spelling Boro wrong was it.
It clearly is there but NVM I'll move on and look for something else that isn't there hopefully it'll take me until May and we are Premier League boundNo - it's just you looking too hard for something that's not there
Armstrong will score in the current Boro team. However, he was pants in the Prem and doubt if he will be good enough next time.Apparently Armstrong's stats are high for missing Big Chances, but it could be that he works a lot of them himself when the average striker normally doesn't.
Conversely if you look at the players who apparently miss the most Big Chances in the Prem, it's Watkins, Haaland and Salah, who aren't bad to have around in that league.
And the top striker who had missed the most Big Chances in the championship at this point last season was....Latte Lath for us. He did more than alright mind.
I live in Teesside pal and spoke to work colleagues today and they're buzzing about the Armstrong link. I think it'll go through but not so sure about the fee but if Hellberg gets the best version of him firing he will be priceless if Boro go up. We had him on loan from Newcastle albeit in league 1 and he was a beast. The only red flag would be his form on loan at West Brom last season which would have been his third time playing under Boro legend Tony Mowbray and couldn't get a game towards the end of the season. In terms of opposition teams he will be a constant threat but as long as we keep him and Boro quiet on the 16th of Feb I wish him and Boro all the best. It would be fantastic if both Cov and Boro went up automatically it would make a huge mockery out of the parachute teams and even better Hull City beat Ipswich in the final. Hull City btw need a big mention because they are flying and have to be considered as automatics contenders.Apparently Armstrong's stats are high for missing Big Chances, but it could be that he works a lot of them himself when the average striker normally doesn't.

only technicallyeven fucking Portsmouth are signing ex-Prem defenders FFS!
Oh, ...........................that's ok then. Good centre back, might have fitted well in here if we didn't have some dodgy ones already.only technically
is he a good cb? the lad from sunderland who played 8 and 12 league games in the championship last 2 seasons?Oh, ...........................that's ok then. Good centre back, might have fitted well in here if we didn't have some dodgy ones already.
Recovered from a brolen leg I think, but quick and a ball playeris he a good cb? the lad from sunderland who played 8 and 12 league games in the championship last 2 seasons?
no better than we have, still if you like him then crack onRecovered from a brolen leg I think, but quick and a ball player
That's exactly who I'd like to see promoted too. (Well provided Boro and Cov go up through the autos, I'd like either Millwall or Hull to win at Wembley, as you say the parachute sides missing out would be lovely and Hollywood AllStars can wait a bit longer.I live in Teesside pal and spoke to work colleagues today and they're buzzing about the Armstrong link. Definitely pal whatever happens it's going to the wire I feel. That's exactly who I'd like to see promoted too. Think Armstrong can do well for us, but not sure about the 15M fee being banded about being accurate. I think it will be something like 8M + add-ons (such as promotion, number of goals scored, etc)
I don't think most Boro fans would imagine him leading the line in the Prem. OK as a sub to come on for the last 20 minutes when legs are getting tired, or back up in an emergency is the general consensus.Armstrong will score in the current Boro team. Telegraph Sport has been told the lawsuit is linked to an agreement preventing Rovers speaking to alternative kit suppliers before the expiry of an exclusive renegotiation period.
Such a tin pot club but largely considered a big club because of their 1994 success which was clearly a one-off. Barely hit 11K home supporters. Sorry but they are tin pot and wouldn’t look out of place in L1Make them play in their statistics bras and pants.

Generally if he helps us get up it's money well spent.
If we go up and stay up, we'd probably sell him as we did Rhodes a decade or so ago and make a small loss due to him being 29. (If Ipswich don't go up they'll have him, if not Brum will as the two of them each think it necessary to have 8 strikers with a proven champo record as only the hugely talented can sit on their bench doing FA as an unused substitute in one of those "statement of intent" thingies to their rivals, whether it does any good or not.)
If we go up and come straight back down he'd be handy to have back in the champo.
If we don't go up at all he'd be handy to have around next season.
They're an old club from a town about a third of the size of Coventry. They're badly run, but so were we.
How many fans do you expect them to have?
Not today (from EFL site)Would I be right in thinking we should find out today which games in March will be moved for TV ?
I've not checked the tv schedule but are any of our February games likely to be moved or change current kick off times ?Would I be right in thinking we should find out today which games in March will be moved for TV ?
No, Feb games are locked in. It's Bristol away at the start of March through to Swansea which will be confirmed in the next batch, although Bristol could be moved again if they get through the next round of the cup.I've not checked the tv schedule but are any of our February games likely to be moved or change current kick off times ?
That success was bought by Jack Walker, he sold a steelworks and used the money to fund the club.Such a tin pot club but largely considered a big club because of their 1994 success which was clearly a one-off.
