If we are in the market for a new (4th) left back, assuming that Bidwell and Brau aren't up to the job, I wouldnt be surprised to see us in for Quilindschy Hartman from Burnley, recently dropped from first team and is rumoured to be surplus to requirements there.
I think he would be worth signing just to listen to Gurney and Oggy attempting that surname!

I don't think Hartman is too tricky.

Ideal world I’d want Onyeka plus another CM who has vision and goal threat like Torp, plus a LB. Ideal ideal world also plus a CB but I don’t think we find a quality CB at this stage. So let’s say 25 of:

Rushworth/Dovin/Wilson
MvE/KKH
LB/Dasilva
Thomas/Kitching/Lats/Woolf
Grimes/Onyeka
CM/Torp/Eccles
Rudoni/Esse
Saka/Markelo
EMC/Yang
Wright/Simms/BTA

Don’t think we will but that would be perfect for me.
Just the six January signings - do you even want to get promoted?

What happens if they go up though?
In all seriousness, I know striker is a position of need for them and they need to roll the dice etc, but trying to stay in the PL with Adam Armstrong as one of your strikers sounds rough. Got to be a better option for that kind of money.

They will probably sign someone else should they go up

Honestly I think we could have done without Markelo but he’s here now.

Im not the one that was trying to win the league with one of the smallest squads in the division 🤷🏻‍♂️

If we hear from Doug then id assume we have shut up shop. If we don't hear i think he is still on the phone trying to do other deals including outgoings.

£325k a week for kicking a bag of wind is obscene. Two weeks of that to any normal person would result in retirement. Where does motivation come from when players are paid that much?

He has agreed to have his contract cancelled because he wants to play. He won't get anywhere near that now but can decide where he wants to go after the window closes. For once it isn't about the money but he doesn't need it.
