Might be an £8 million purchase , an Auxerre & Mali striker , to bolster our front line .
With 2 other teams interested , one being Wolves , we should stand a good chance if we are serious of the premier league

I do think we need another attacking player actually yes.

If he's good then of course I would be happy to sign him but we haven't got a bottomless pit of money and I think we have higher priorities. Unless we can afford both, which I seriously doubt, I'd rather have a ball-winning midfielder such as Onyeka.

i wonder if the interest in the bloke from france is due to Wright leaving
Now....this is just a complete guess, but is it possible that Wright is about to move and Sinayoko is lined up as a potential replacement?

Been rumours for a while now that Wright hasn't been happy and I just wonder if the much more impressive performances from him of late are his putting himself in the shop window.

Not saying he wasn't trying before, but if he was unhappy, the best way to earn himself a good move, would be for him to bust a gut and play at the top of his game.

Just thinking that would be a motivating factor.

Just a guess. I really rate him and don't want to see him leave, but I was thinking if he truly was unsettled, it would be best for both parties for him to move on.

If that is an observation shared by interested clubs, they would do well to stay away from him.

As I say, I am not saying he wasn't trying before, but he might have been feeling a little down and off his game

Not accusing him of downing tools or anything. Just saying he might have been trying that little bit harder these last few games, because there was maybe a chance to move on and that before he might have been off his game a little.

Don't see any problem with that to be honest.

Anyway, let's not get ahead of ourselves.

I am merely guessing based on us potentially looking for a new striker and Wright possibly having been unhappy

Why has he got to be unhappy with his status at the club though, and we all thought it was the perfect season for him to shine!
