Thing is, these things are never that accurate, as there are always sides that suddenly go on great runs and sides that drop like a stone.

That table there obviously pretty much looks like (in terms of league position) it does now and it WILL look different.

No idea who will drop like a stone and who will go on unbeaten runs all of a sudden, but there will be a few surprises.

Am I right in my thinking that Ipswich and Hulls game in hand is against each other?
They do have to play each other though, it was supposed to be FA cup weekend but been rescheduled as both teams are in the next round.

They haven't set the date so it will become a game in hand for them at some point and played later in the season.

This can only be a good thing, as both sides get the game squashed into another run of league fixtures, so get less recovery and prep time for the next league fixture.

I hope Ipswich beat Wrexham in the cup personally and get another fixture squashed into their run in too.

Well, yep. Ipswich beat them in the cup and then lose against them in the league, or only get a draw.

I do think it's written in the stars though that the "plucky underdog, fairytale small team from Wales" will make it through to the next round of the cup.

It's the headline all the media are salivating over the thought of.

Would love the Tractor wheels to fall off in February and us and Boro to go up in the autos

Would be a shrewd signing by the "plucky underdogs"...🤔🤣

To be fair your club over the years have overspent their earnings as much as most clubs at this level but because Steve Gibson isn’t a Hollywood billionaire it seems more acceptable to some

I’m watching the game on Pompey tv and for virtually every time a Southampton player touches the ball they’re saying how much they cost.
Kinda funny highlighting the gulf in resources but also kinda amazing how much Southampton have spent!
