Norwich isn’t a must win in that it’ll have a huge impact on the season necessarily but it’s a fantastic opportunity to give us the sort of cushion we haven’t had since the start of December.
Def not a must win but when mboro & Ipswich slip up you have to take advantage, win and it gives us a bit of space again, we win 10 out of 18 then ipswich have to win 14 out 18 to catch us, that’s some gap to make up,

It’s a ga that’s been made more important than usual because of the impact 3 points could have.

Some people call that a must win.

Some people like to say there no such thing as a must win and the league is decided over 46 games not one.

I’d rather just go with the former.

Don't really care what boro or ipswich do we focus on ourselves and win games. We beat Norwich monday boro will think they won a game 3 0 and gained no ground that will start playing on there brains
Nah, tbh you could win 10-nil on Monday and we'd still be over the moon with this weekend.🤣

The point is, we don't think we're catching you. You do what we do in our away games of late, grind out a result, and the points will keep coming for you. Perhaps not at the rate that you were racking them up earlier in the season, but enough. Plus you might only be 3 points ahead at the mo, but aside from the game in hand now, you have have the biggest gimme going of the Hoodoo game against us AND the massively superior GD which means we'd feasibly need to gain an extra point? So in our minds, wiping off the game at the CBS we need to get 7-10 more points than you in 16 games, depending on your result on Monday. We're very good...but not overhaul you by up to 10 points in a third of a season Good!

Ipswich on the other hand are a different matter entirely. The 5 point gap now wipes out their game in hand nicely and we're also beginning to claw back the GD too, only 4 goals off them now. Our remaining fixture list is also a good chunk better than theirs. As for our head to head with them, we're up for it, ideally we want to do the double over them this year in the whole "parachute club my ar$e" vein. True, they could beat us, they're at home, but unlike our game against yourselves we have no fear of them whatsoever.

True, we could have done without Hull & Millwall winning, but Ipswich are still the main threat in our eyes.

Promotion is everything. As for the title, not many of us could actually give a monkeys.

The way I see it, we are playing for 2nd right now. I just really, truly hope we don’t fall away and end up in the playoffs, it’d be disastrous.

Ipswich or ‘Boro are not going to let up, and unless we dig in and rediscover that dazzling form, 1st is a pipe dream and 2nd is unrealistic. The pack will be closing in, but onwards and upwards.

Playing for 2nd or do you mean as long as we’re top 2.

I mean, I’ve said recently I think Ipswich will win the league but they lost today and we can go 11 clear of them if we win Monday. I’m not so sure now.

Exactly, until we’re up that gap will never be big enough but winning Monday would be huge, if we’d of beaten Ipswich think the gap would of been 16, could be 11 after Monday, considering some were saying we’d bottle it, that shows some character,
