At that time they were in the top 6, so couldn't have been that bad at that timeI couldn’t hate Preston anymore.
When we scraped a draw against ten men up there this site were confident they were a good side. They’re fucking shite.
We’re going to have to beat them at home, let’s hope we can deal with the pressure.
Good teams have good keepersRushworth kept us in games when we were playing really well
They are 6thAt that time they were in the top 6, so couldn't have been that bad at that time
I don't, things can change quickly and although we didn't look good a times we looked a lot better than Christmas and we now have a strong bench at the moment, to the point that monday FL will need to drop 2 players from the squad Allen/Bidwell/WolfI think i understand the panic , its hard to not think that way
Did Leicester really raise their game or were we just below our best to even the playing field?Right but away games at shite teams are on a par with home games against decent sides raising their game.
but slipping downThey are 6th
Millwall were unbeaten in 5 games and had beaten the form team Watford just beforeDid Leicester really raise their game or were we just below our best to even the playing field?
Milwall are decent but I wouldn't put them significantly better than the Preston team.
Will take the 6 points but we need to raise our levels from the last two matches, think it's risky to think that level of performance will get us the necessary points between now and the end of the season.
You don't think Millwall look much better than Preston, well you don't know what you are talking aboutDid Leicester really raise their game or were we just below our best to even the playing field?

Millwall are justifiably in the top 6 and looked a well managed side. Lesta fans agreed it was the best they had played in a long time.Did Leicester really raise their game or were we just below our best to even the playing field?

Well at that point it cut off Derby who were well in the chasing pack.Still laugh when I was told on here that I was a shit fan for prioritising the league title over second place cos I didn't want Middlesbrough to beat Derby earlier in the season
Apparently Boro winning increased our chances of top 2
Idiots
Have to think long term. Less chance Derby were gonna be in autos race compared to Boro.Well at that point it cut off Derby who were well in the chasing pack.
Boro were already in the auto's race. We were about 13 points clear.Have to think long term. Less chance Derby were never gonna be in autos race compared to Boro.
Can someone please confirm to me we have just won 2 really hard games, tuened around our christmas form and are 6 points clear. I don't think I'm sure reading this thread. Don't get me wrong it could all fall apart, but there's nothing to suggest that, when we were playing really well we took all the points we could to help when we went through a bad patch, which was always going to happen. Boro and Ipswich have also had a bad patchJust remember lads, Cov never do it the easy way, just enjoy it
.... PUSB
If Boro had 2 less points it would be massive . It's as simple as thatBoro were already in the auto's race. We were about 13 points clear.
The reason we have been dragged back into the race is because we had a sub par month or so
Oh my life, we have always been under pressure, we've been sitiing top for months. On our form up to the Wrexham game no-one though Wrexham had a chanceThis is starting to put us under pressure now. It's important that we deal with it well in the two upcoming away games. On this form I can't see Middlesbrough doing anything other than beat Norwich next Saturday.
We could well be out of the top two before the end of February. That doesn't mean we can't climb back up again but the team will need to keep its nerve.
Norwich have been pretty impressive on the road tbf. This is starting to put us under pressure now. It's important that we deal with it well in the two upcoming away games. On this form I can't see Middlesbrough doing anything other than beat Norwich next Saturday.

Well at that point we were almost just as close to Derby as we were Boro I believe. If Boro had 2 less points it would be massive . It's as simple as that
I was right. It's not a troll.
Yes I'm aware. I could see Boro were the bigger threat. Clearly some couldn't.Well at that point we were almost just as close to Derby as we were Boro I believe.
If you listen to people on here Ipswich and Boro are guaranteed to win every game now and we won't beat anybodyIt's in our hands, other teams will win games, all we need to do is win enough of our games including Middlesbrough
It's just we've gone from 3 points ahead, to 9 and now back to 3. Really need to start getting a few away wins. At least Lampard knows about being at the topNot panicking. Long way to go yet and our form would have to drop off a cliff for us to fail now. This is an easy game for them. We'll have easy games too.
We had an unbeaten in 5 Millwall which we beat, and a local rivalry.
I think we did well
Don't really care what boro or ipswich do we focus on ourselves and win games. We beat Norwich monday boro will think they won a game 3 0 and gained no ground that will start playing on there brains
If only we all had your foresightYes I'm aware. I could see Boro were the bigger threat. Clearly some couldn't.
only because we played on different daysIt's just we've gone from 3 points ahead, to 9 and now back to 3. Really need to start getting a few away wins. At least Lampard knows about being at the top
