I don't know about you but this is football is the most stressful time of the week, but one of the most looked forward to. However, since we talk about wellbeing and the like, I like to look at how the other teams will do, not just us in isolation. We talk about needing 8-9 wins, but that is if the other teams are winning. I ask our wonderful admin can we do this each week?

Jan 23

Derby vs WBA - Draw

Jan 24

Boro vs Preston - Draw - Although Boro have been lucky, like us with goals, (there second against Stoke was comical) I think Preston will be too physical for them.
M'wall vs Charlton - Home win - tasty local derby
Blues vs Stoke - Away win - Never trust Stoke, when you think they'll win they lose and vis-versa
Blackburn vs Watford - Home win - Watford have been horrendous lately
Bristol C vs Sheff Wed - Home win
Hull vs Swansea - Draw - I know Hull are doing well recently but Swansea need the point(s) and I believe they are good enough
Lester va Oxford - Draw - Oxford under new manager doing well and bringing in new bodies, shock result
QPR vs Wrexham - Home win - I know Wrexham are doing well but I think QPR at home need the points
Sheff Utd vs Ipswich - the most difficult result to predict because the old Wilder teams love being the party-poopers, but this team? However, for a peaceful weekend I am going - Home win

Jan 25

Pompy vs Saints - Draw - Pompy are good at home and Saints are well under-performing.

Jan 26

Norwich vs CITY - Away win - I know they did well against WBA but that was never a 5-0 match. I think Sargent stating he will never play for them again may have an effect, but because they won so well their fans will expect them to be world beaters again, and I think that will play into our favour. I think FL will put EMC on the bench for this one and start Minny, also may start Woolf, but we will be too strong.

I fancy Sheff U to win too. But I think Preston will be hard for Boro, even at home, and spoil the game to a draw

Withstanding the unpredictability of the Championship I would be very surprised if Boro don't beat Preston. The Sheff U v Ipswich game is harder to predict. Hopefully Hamer plays and has a good day to help us out, but I suspect a draw might be as good as we can hope for.

Sounds like a great name for a pub band.

Reminds me of the duo who used ro appear over Southam/Long Itch way at the end of the 80s. Bloke on a keyboard and a terrible female singer; Tramp and the Lady. Dreadful covers.

I am resigned to them both winning tbh. Sheff Utd definitely more likely than Preston to help us out though.
Am with you there Cam. At the moment I look at the 2 teams below us and their current form and think they will win, so I'm not too disappointed if it happens, however a draw or a loss in one or both of them and it's a wonderful weekend.
Not liking this part of the season at all, not doing my health any good at all

Boro and Ipswich will both win = Preston in honking form / SU missing 2 players from last week and injuries biting.

Monday - id be delighted with a point! and on we go.

. Sheffield last 6 home league form won 4 drawn 2 scoring 14 goals only concided only. 2 Ipswich last 6 away won 2 drawn 2 and lost 2. Preston lost 1 in the last 8 away .My thoughts are 2 draws.
We should win Monday night against Norwich who have only won 3 at home all season .Think positve.
Enjoy the ride.

I hope you're right, If this happens i'll be absolutely delighted. It's a bonus if we gain points on teams when we're playing an away game. Fingers crossed Preston and Sheff Utd do us a couple of favours tomorrow 🤞

Frank's not leaving EMC out of starting 11 at Norwich.
