Would absolutely love to be proved wrong..

I will feel a lot more confident if we are able to bring another couple of quality players in..
With Ipswich, they’ve only really caught up to us because their schedule has heavily favoured home fixtures and they beat us away.

The litmus test is Feb where it’s flipped. They’re averaging 1.33 per game away from home and of their next 8 league games, 6 are away. In their last 6 away, they’ve only won 2. More of that please McKenna!

Yes, but their best results have been away from home. Their home record under the new manager is 3-0-2, having lost v Stoke and Watford in their last 2.

Norwich are a relegation candidate team and it’s a game we need to winning. Same as QPR, they’ve really beaten anyone at the top end of the table either.
Bogey team, Monday night, opposition will probably do as the others have done and take things up a level. I'm not expecting much.

We’re a superstitious bunch on this forum. Norwich were a bogey team because they’ve been a much better team than us for (comfortably) a generation.

We’re winning the league, their right down at the bottom (teams around them have games in hand) and their home form has been bad all season.

If we can’t get 3 points here, when will we win at Carrow Road? Pretty much every game since December there’s been a few people saying ‘I’d take a draw here’. It isn’t good enough with Ipswich and Boro on our toes and this is exactly the type of games we need to be winning this season.

Another 4-6 win streak more or less confirms we will go up automatically this season. We’re 2/2 so far.

We were a goal and player up at Deepdale and still conspired not to win tbf.

11 points from 18 which would put us on 69 points

True but at that time PNE had only lost once at home and had a top 6 home record (probably 4th iirc).

After Sheff W, Norwich have lost the most home games all season.
Which is true, but a large number of those home defeats came under a dreadful managerial appointment. Since that was changed it's improved significantly.

Being blunt, we somehow conspired to lose at Carrow Road despite being in front in stoppage time. That really was a 'if not now then when?' moment.

This is what I think:

Norwich (A) - W
QPR (A) - D
Oxford (H) - W
Boro (H) - W
WBA (A) - D
Sheff U (A) - L

11 points from 18 which would put us on 69 points
I look at that fixture run and feel that we should win all of them. A draw with Boro would be reasonable but it’s a game where we need to land a knockout blow to their automatic promotion aspirations.

WBA are sinking and Sheff U are in a weird place, two games we need to win.

I’m hoping this two game win streak will kick start our season after a disappointing December/New Year.

Norwich were better at that point though and it was a game they deserved a point at the very least, we got battered that game. The only shock was that it got to stoppage time at 1-0 up! 😂

Be confident, we’re going to beat them.
