It’s all relative but he hasn’t won them a single game has he?

Looking good in the worst team in this division when they’re expecting to lose every game and he gets a free pass from their fans as he didn’t leave in the summer - and he’s regularly upset Sheffield United fans - isn’t enough to make me think that he’s close to the type of player we need to get us to the Prem.
If he looks good, in the worst team in the league, he must be good! He is a very good player in the championship.

I'd hope we were at least in for him at £3mill that seems cheap to me. But Sheff and Birmingham would both massively overpay on wages. So depends on the lads aspirations - get back to Premier league or take the immediate money.

I don't think we are in for Dan Neil.

Great win last night but yet again, our full backs and wingers are killing us defensively. We could (and should) have been 3 or 4-1 down in that second half.

Happy to get the win but we won't keep getting away with it. We need to go back to controlling and managing games out. When was the last time we won 2-0? I can't keep watching us probe and probe to then be hit on the break time and time again.

But...in terms of transfers, I think we are desperate for a CM with legs to help cover Grimes and we need a LB. Bidwell and Brau and not the level and JDS is not defensively good enough imo.

Wondering if Grimes has been in touch.

Best he stays where he is for now if he isn't coming here until the end of the season. We don't want him rucking up at a promotion rival and aiding their cause

No mention of us here now;

This account is beyond ridiculous. “Journalist” with 100 followers, mostly tweets about Sheffield clubs.

Yesterday’s exclusive claimed we had bid £900k for Bailey Cadamateri from Wednesday w instant loan back til end of season (because he’s exactly what we’d need next season if we were in the prem but we don’t need him to help us get there!!)

And he appears to misspell the name Michael.

Got a sneaky suspicion it will all be quiet now until deadline day and we will be trying to get a couple over the line last minute

The. work will be being done now on any deals. Deals may get finalized at the last minute, but don't actually happen at the last minute.

Yep. That’s exactly the reason why players transfer from the club at the bottom of the championship to the top every season. Especially at 36 years of age.

He doesn’t look that good, merely hints that he was a skilful player who probably should have achieved more in his career. He’s not won them a single game as they continue (even without the points deduction) on a record breaking season of underperformance.

Lampard's reputation is at an all-time high – he is going to ride the crest of this wave until the end of the season. He is getting a lot of adulation for what he is doing at Coventry. Why leave that and go to Palace, where things could go wrong very quickly? I think Rob Edwards has given championship managers a masterclass in what not to do.
