Seems the crew fans also think Dunn was utter crap and the game turned their way when he replaced Murphy.

Don't want to moan about players but having watched the goals again today on sky it is clear that Dunn was at fault for the 2nd and 3rd goal.
Simply not good enough and I can see why Northampton were happy to let him go.
If this is our backup for Murphy over the next few games then I really think our playoff chances will be dead and buried.

Robins needs to find a decent backup/replacement now and get rid of Dunn before its to late. It was pretty obvious last night that the players had no confidence in him and I now know why.

I'm sure mr will be looking to do just that, but can't publicly blame dunn until a replacement is in because we night still need him.

I agree he was crap but if the rest of the team had no confidence in him they should have tried defending perhaps.

Robins will have got straight on it last night or this morning!

A replacement for Dunn is a must.

Never saw how they justified buying him.

Burge looks like a better keeper than Dunn lol

Pretty much bollux though I think, Dunn was left completely exposed and Crewe finished well, classical away performance !!

Yeah sorta stuck up for him at the game after all 11players on the pitch, but after seeing the goals again with murphy we'd still be hugely in this tie.

A new reserve keeper shouldn't be too high up our shopping list

isn't Burge out on loan? if thats the case they will either recall him or get in a "reserve" keeper on loan.

yes he isn't good enough but agree with CJ, this isn't a priority. Shame we don't have any decent kids coming through....

We didn't win last night simply down to the fact we couldn't put the ball in the net, be it by our shooting or by some very good keeping. Also how that player was allowed to run so far unchallenged was a joke!

A handful of people wanted that -- they have now gone into hiding.

If Murphy is out for more than a game a new keeper is THE priority or forget the play offs.

The Murphy bashing on this forum has been ridiculous. He's easily been one of our best players this season, especially in the away games.

Where are all the fans clamouring for him to be dropped now? Probably crying into their Keiren Westwood posters. Westwood was class, a cut above, he's gone. Murphy is a fine L1 keeper. The jury is still out however on Dunn and form what I've seen he certainly isn't ready to be our number one like so many morons on here claimed he should be after a sub appearance where he made 1 half decent save.

Reminds me of the anti - Baker brigade also, a bunch of over opinionated gobshites who have been silenced now. They didn't WANT to give him a chance. Pity we have this overbearing mentality with some Cov fans !

Slightly different. Murphy has proved himself at championship level. Baker hasn't. I didn't realise relegation was a strategy to make those who questioned his suitability previously silenced. Seems a heavy price to pay.

Some people forget just how many points Murphy has saved us this season, there have been many times this season where we've been drawing/winning a match and he's made a class save and we've gone on to win that match.
