Didnt saddle say the midfielder would be for some cash though?
If its a permanent transfer and he chooses Birmingham he's choosing almost certain Championship football next season. If it's a loan then I think we have a chance, given that he will presumably stay on his current wages with Brentford, which are reportedly £40,000 pw, with us making a contribution.
If it's a permanent transfer then Birmingham will outbid us on the transfer fee and wages.
Think missing the likes of Dasilva, Torp and even Thomas has contributed to that. The replacements for all 3 are less dynamic and technical and don’t give him the same passing options. The system needs tweaking now. Grimes is getting pressure from opposing players more and more. It would appear we've been rumbled
Maybe its obligation to buy upon promotionDidnt saddle say the midfielder would be for some cash though?
One scenario is he wont sign a new contract, 1 year left in the summer so we sell him now and replace him. Probably not but its something to consider with a lot of our squad only having 1 year leftThomas won’t be released in this window. No chance.
Really is.Birmingham showing more ambition than us while we’re in 1st is hilarious.

People said that this season. The favourites outside of the parachute teams.I doubt if he will care if he's on big wages.
Birmingham could come up through the playoffs this season and are in with a very good shout next year.
Is it ambition or just a Wagner ego trip chucking money about because he can ?Birmingham showing more ambition than us while we’re in 1st is hilarious.
Bobby Thomas court case analysis when??It’s not ambition. It’s money. They have more money than us.

I just want some shiity rumours to get me through this cold harsh January![]()
Have they? They have signed a racist LB who can't defend, a midfielder with some of the worst stats and potentially a Winger/Attacker we decided was not worth it?Birmingham showing more ambition than us while we’re in 1st is hilarious.
Wagner looks good lets not be silly.Have they? They have signed a racist LB who can't defend, a midfielder with some of the worst stats and potentially a Winger/Attacker we decided was not worth it?
They will look to spend as they have in their eyes massively underachieved so far this season, will they spend well is a very different conversation.

We are never going to get a better opportunity going all in. Id understand to an extend if we were in the play off mix, but not now.I see all your replies and understand we don’t have an unlimited transfer budget, but surely if there’s any point to go ALL IN then it’s right now?
Because we're half way through the season. We'd be risking someone coming in and firing straight away against already having someone who we know can perform at this level. We’re top of the league and our starting striker is somehow unsellable despite not scoring in 13 games. Why wouldn’t you bin him off and bring in one of the hottest young strikers in Europe at a net profit? It epitomises “the model”.
He’s about to be benched though because of how shit he’s been for months.Because we're half way through the season. We'd be risking someone coming in and firing straight away against already having someone who we know can perform at this level.
Dearie meWe’re top of the league and our starting striker is somehow unsellable despite not scoring in 13 games. Why wouldn’t you bin him off and bring in one of the hottest young strikers in Europe at a net profit? It epitomises “the model” and gives us more firepower.
I’m quite happy for Birmingham to be as ambitious as they like, they would swap for our squad and points total in a heartbeat.Birmingham showing more ambition than us while we’re in 1st is hilarious.
You missed out Preston where he played well and got their CB sent off. Bristol where he caused them problems and set up the winner (no assist as it touched their defender) and Southampton where if we had a decent ref he'd have also got their CB sent off and had a penalty. He’s about to be benched though because of how shit he’s been for months.
You’re telling me we wouldn’t be able to sign a striker better than thisView attachment 48343View attachment 48342
